I’ve been using OneSimCard during some international travel, and so far it’s been a reliable choice. The setup was quick and easy — I inserted the SIM, followed the instructions, and it was ready to go. One of the best features is the free U.S. number (PEN). It’s super convenient for receiving calls from back home or for two-step verification. I also like that I can track my usage and recharge online without needing an app. Calls were clear, and basic texting worked fine for my needs. As with any global SIM, it’s good to check the local rates, but overall this service did exactly what I needed while traveling.

I ordered this SIM and it actually arrived within a week to Bulgaria. Amazingly fast delivery and it's is very easy to install. This is a great product for people who travel internationally. UPDATE-If you need to receive bank codes for authentication, this will only work if you purchase an additional phone number for another 90 a year. This is not stated in the description of the product. It's kind of a bait and switch scenario. Even once you pay the additional fee you can only receive codes, you cannot reply to anything so when the company sends you a message to accept texts, you cannot reply.

This review is meant for the first time SIM user and potential purchaser of this card. Save yourself the frustration of watching the international carrier drain your SIM card's cash reserves while not completing your connection by first checking OneSimCard's Rates & Coverage web page (blue "Rates" icon at upper right on their home page), particularly in Africa. Also, as backup, it is highly recommended that your mobile phone not be super minimalist and is capable of WiFi, internet access, texting and VoIP.

I just returned from a Caribbean cruise. In St. Kitts and St. Lucia, the calls were $2.50 per minutes. In St. Martin, the calls were $0.55 per minute. $2.50 a minutes is very, very pricey. Trying to check voice mail by dialing your US phone number did not work well with the "call-back" interface and dead propagation delays. If I got to the voice mail system announcement, entering an asterisk was problematic due to timing issues. Multiple attempted calls at $2.50 a minute added up.

I bought this card because I wanted to set up PENs (Personal Extra Numbers) for each country in which I need a phone number so that I do not need to keep a local contract running in each countrry. At the moment I am still testing, but so far so good. One point worth noting is that if you need to receive US bank codes for authentication you will need to purchase an additional specific US PEN number which costs extra.

This sim card worked very well for me. I traveled to Europe this summer and visited 4 countries - One Sim worked flawlessly in all of them. The local carrier was immediately identified in each country. No problem making or receiving calls. No problem with data. The One Sim VOIP and OneSim Card Direct apps were useful as well. Given the flexibility to use one sim card across many countries, and keep one number, I found the rates very acceptable as well. Data packages were definitely more favorably priced than the alternative offered by my US carrier. Hassle free use of the card does require some reading of the information available on the One Sim website, but the info is there and the card works as advertised.

Ohhh man. They made an error on my SIM card, and had bad customer service. It was like having a rental car that didn't run, and they wanted you to spend time repairing it. I got to Kenya and couldn't activate the OneSIMCard. Getting ahold of customer service was challenging (because I didn't have internet!) and when I did, they provided same generic response 2x's, which didn't address my problem. Moreover, the instructions included required internet access to execute, which again, I didn't have. I tried to convey the difficulty of being a traveler on the road with a problem, and they just didn't get it. Mind-blowing, given that travelers on the road are precisely their customer base. I finally gave up, purchased a local SIM card, and advised them so. They didn't read that communication, but replied that they were sorry as the code on my SIM card was incorrect and I now needed to take actions x,y,z to activate it. They honestly didn't seem to understand that people on the road have limited time, and can't waste it fiddling with a SIM card.

Buena tarjeta, facil de configurar, la recomiendo para viajes a paises en donde no tengas cobertura y necesites datos.

About to use International SIM in Africa where normal Australian phone service is not available.

After looking at different International sims for my upcoming Africa trip the Onesim card was clearly the best for my needs. The sim was delivered quickly and was easy to set up. The voip option is also an added bonus for cheaper call rates

Compré este sim para un viaje a India con paradas en España y Dubai. El servicio fue excelente en todo el camino. Es importante contratar un paquete desde antes de salir ya que de otra forma el plan tarda un día en activarse y los costos de datos a granel se vuelve prohibitivo. El proceso de recarga es muy rápido y transparente. Los planes de datos fuera de la zona contratada dan la mitad de datos así que hay que tener cuidado. Es importante revisar los países que tienen cobertura en cada paquete. Es una lástima que no tengan aplicación para Android y la de iPhone tiene sus defectos.

Purchase of this SIM card offers very limited use. It's necessary to go online and purchase at least an extra $50 of service to have get any use out of it. In addition: THIS CARD DOES NOT WORK IN CUBA. I got my money back on the card through Amazon, but when I requested a refund for roaming and texting fee from ONE SIM CARD customer service it was denied, despite my proving to them that the failure rate of their service was 70%. I was treated very rudely and they used a word that were I too repeat it here, the review would not be published. On my trip I had to depend on the hotel WiFi. The charming people of Cuba made my trip worthwhile.
