It is important to allow the melt pool reach the edges of the jar on every burn. This will prevent the candle from burning down the middle. Why is my candle turning yellow? They do not add UV inhibitors to the candles or any other unnecessary chemicals. As such, if left exposed to direct or indirect light, your candle may darken. They suggest storing your candle in a cool dark place to keep it white. If your candle does darken, don't be alarmed - it does not affect the burn or quality at all. About Woodfire Candle Company Woodfire Candle Company is an artisan candle company located in a small studio on the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota. Established in 2012, Woodfire started because they love burning candles, but don’t love what comes with burning a mass produced candle: chemicals, black soot, and unnecessary ingredients. Woodfire wanted a candle that was natural and beautiful, but also one that is different than your average candle. When they couldn’t find that candle, they decided to make it. Woodfire candles contain three simple ingredients: soy wax, high quality fragrance and essential oil blends, and wooden wicks. They choose soy because it is American-grown, renewable, clean burning, and long lasting. Their scents are nature inspired or ones that evoke feelings of warmth and comfort.
