Classic Accessories Veranda Water-Resistant 59 Inch BBQ Grill Cover for the Weber Genesis

Material is heavy duty and well made. In many other climates this cover will last for the life of the grill!! Fits well. However the Arizona summer heat will take a toll on it after 2 or 3 years. Grill is usually covered when not in use. It's kept usually left out in the sunshine. Because we keep in out in sunshine it will make the canvas brittle and it may tear. Using duct tape may save it for an extra season. I keep buying this same one because it is made so well and others have just disintegrated after a year.

My new grill covered arrived today, so this review is based on initial impression only. The cover I replaced was a very tight fit and, consequently, a challenge to put on or remove. The seams split and white fuzz from the lining found its way into the grill. It was also a stiff black material, except when heat made it more flexible.I decided on this cover based on positive reviews, but wasn’t sure whether to order the larger size based on prior experience. I opted for the size specified for my Genesis and am very pleased with the fit and the look of the cover. I won’t say it was easy to put on the first time, but that’s only because of it being folded for packaging. Once fully opened, it went on the grill easily and has room to spare without being too loose. There is a zip pocket that I may find a use for. Or not.

Great for the price. It's a heavy vinyl cover that nicely fits my Weber Genesis grill. Easy on/off and reaches the ground with just a couple inch gap at ground level. Also has toggles to strap it to the grill, but haven't used them. Top fits well enough that I haven't lost it during any storms. The light color does show dirt more easily than my old black one, but the grill would get so hot under the old black cover that I couldn't touch the handles after I removed the cover. Grill's a lot cooler under this cover; handles are touchable after removing the cover.The summer sun here in Georgia really puts the wear on vinyl grill covers. Usually get about 2-3 years use out of one; price paid doesn't make a difference. Probably get more wear out of a different material, but at a much higher price. At this price point, I can afford a new one every few years. Very pleased with this product.

This is a great improvement over the Weber OEM cover. The weight and flexibility are just about perfect allowing for easy on & off. Cord ties on bottom are easy to use. I believe the canvas will tolerate the southern AZ weather much better than the OEM cover. Ordered a second cover after 3 years -- the first one last just over 3 years in direct sunlight -- the sun's UVlight and dry air caused most of the materials to fail but still a good value vs. the Weber OEM black cover.2023 UPDATE - I did order another cover in 2019 that started to rip due to UV light damage after about 24 months. I contacted the supplier for a warranty claim replacement, and they supplied another cover N/C with the understanding that the total warranty period would be three years from purchase. This replacement has done okay but is starting to fail again after being in service for 24 months. Just about time to buy another cover -- and I will buy this one again -- knowing that the material is going to fail sometime around 24 months. I wish the material was better at UV resistance and I think the cover is a good value as it is.

I replaced an older Brinkman grill cover that was starting to wear thin and had a hole in it. I now own a Weber Genesis II model with 3 burners and no side auxiliary burner. I ordered the appropriate size cover for my grill. When I tried it on I was surprised at how concise it fits. Classic was one of the only covers that had the correct height for this grill and it is very well made. There are lift handles, hidden air vents, draw strings and hitches for winterizing and a zippered pouch for nomenclatures and recipe books, etc.. I hope that the quality lasts through the Central Florida heat over the years and can take some direct sunlight for some periods during the day.

I went to remove it today to cook and it fell apart like tissue paper. It wasn't a single tear that could be mended with duct tape. It completely tore to shreds and is now useless. I didn't realize it was disposable!

Have ordered numerous covers from this company. They are fitted very nicely with handles to lift the cover off, velcro holders and cinch string at the bottom to hold them on even in 50 mile an hour winds. Have had several of them sitting over things in the weather for a couple of years and they still look as good as new. Very impressive. A grill cover from a local big superstore did not hold up to the conditions and ripped in a couple years. I am going to continue ordering from this company, even though they are a little expensive, they are worth it.

Didn’t last, its only a cover that should last for years! But no, they just want to keep you buying this stuff.

The cover for my Weber Genesis was in desperate need of replacement, so I spent some time researching and reading online to find a good cover to withstand the Nova Scotia climate (I use it year round). The Veranda was rated #1 in one of the lists. From what I recall, it shipped quite quickly and looked just as I expected coming out of the pkg. Different from a lot of the other covers, the Veranda is more like a thick, luxurious canvas that fits very nicely over the Genesis and has handles on the upper sides to make it easy to pull on and off.There are straps on the side that can be tightened down to keep it tighter in place. There are a few vents that don't allow rain to come in, but will allow air flow in and out. I know some people in their reviews had an issue with the color, but I don't mind it- nice change from the traditional black. I think its a great cover for the money and expect it to hold up for years to come.

Weber makes a great BBQ, but TERRIBLE BBQ covers. Living in Canada, we need a cover that can withstand cold. I went through two Weber covers, and each cracked in short order. They leaked. They disintegrated. Then, I bought this Classic cover over a year ago. I waited one winter before writing this review. All I can say is... BUY THIS COVER. It is fantastic. It remains pliant in cold weather. It has a fabric outer layer and waterproof inner layer. The grab handles make it so easy to pull off and put on. It has clip ties at the bottom to stop the wind from taking it away. Just a superb product and tremendous value. Say BYE BYE to Weber covers forever. This cover is a real treat. It is obviously a solid, quality, well thought-out product. Good on ya, Classic!

Perfect fit for my Weber Genesis barbecue. Much better quality and cheaper than Weber cover. Tried cheaper covers but always come back to this one.

The media could not be loaded.  This cover claims to be durable and fade resistant. We are very careful with our cover but it still ripped in several areas. It was only in one winter. The cover was NEVER thrown on the ground when off of the BBQ. We always draped it over a patio chair. As for it being fade free. That too is false.The only reason I gave it a high rating of 2 stars was because the cover did look nice and was a good fit. Unfortunately, now we have to look for another cover.I do not recommend this cover for your BBQ.

Fits my Webber 310 perfectly. My last cover from Webber disintegrated within a year. I just got this one, but I can tell the quality. The Webber costs over 100 buck, so for this price it's cheaper, and better quality by far. I have the individual chair covers and I also have the Sectional cover coming soon. It's nice to know that my investment is protected. Quality, and I would highly recommend it. Came quickly and packed professionally.
