Will the inside top or any of the Screws Rust? Bob

I have had mine for two full years, made much popcorn, which creates steam in the unit. No screws or plates show any sign of corrosion.

From the steam and heat does this get your walls and ceiling discolored or greasy?

it does put out steam and smoke surprisingly....as if I was burning the popcorn even though I am not. I thought the steam was moisture that was coming out of the equipment somewhere that would stop after a few times, but it didn't. When the smoke and steam continued it got me thinking and wondering if there was a pieces of plastic protective covering tape that I have not removed that is melted somewhere on the machine and it is burning when I run it...I cannot seem to find anything though

We have had this popper for a few days and every batch but the first one has made chewy popcorn. What are we doing wrong? We leave one door open etc

This is what we have done, and our popcorn is never chewy. Before adding anything to the kettle I allow it to run for 5 minutes (both switches on). I then add a 1/3 cup of Coconut or Peanut oil with 1 cup of popcorn, slide the cover down, and let it pop with both doors open most of the way.
