Poor quality. Thin leather.
I rescind my previous 3 star review. This belt is all leather and is holding up well.

Genuine leather belt at a bonded leather price.
Great belt. Real honest to goodness leather instead of that bonded leather crap that is typically available at this price. Belt length is exactly the same as another 44 inch belt I purchased online several months ago. Has a very elegent, classy look and fits all my pants despite being slightly wider than my other belts. Belt buckle seems to be quite sturdy and overall quality appears to be equal to or better than similar belts selling for twice as much in some of the upscale dept. stores. Have only had it a couple of weeks but so far I am very impressed.

Looks nice, but expect stains on lighter pants.
Bought the 9007 Brown 34-36 to fit my 33-34 waist. Fits a little past one loop overlap on my shorts, which is how I like my belt length.EDIT: After roughly a week of wear, the belt appears to have stretched more than an inch. If I were to buy again, I would actually try the 30-32 size belt for my 33-34 inch waist in order to anticipate this stretching. The belt, as it stands, overlaps through it's own loop, my shorts first loop, and another 3 1/2 inches, which is a bit too far for me, although this appears to be the standard fit, based on the model pictures for the belt. Based on their own recommendation, "Pant Size: 32-34 order belt size 34-36" the pictures they have of men wearing the belt appear to be an accurate representation of how it will fit if you order on their recommendation. Belt has held up through prong punctures and no flaking so far.Came in decorative box and felt bag. Belt feels like good enough quality, is entirely leather, with good braiding and no premade holes. You just stick buckle prong through the braiding, which imo is how a braided belt should work. The one disappointing thing is that the belt needs sealant, otherwise expect light colored pants to be stained by this belt. I tested it indoors at room temperature for a few hours on an old pair of pale blue shorts and they were left with light stains all around. Stains came out in the wash at least.Editing this after wearing the belt for a few more months. Doesn't stain my tan chinos and a few other lighter colored pants I have. I got by without applying sealant/resolene just fine. I just avoid wearing those light blues Brooks Brothers shorts with it. Adjusting review score from 3 to 4 stars because I've grown more satisfied with this belt over time.

Great First Impressions for 9009 model
This review is for the Falari 9009 belt only. Unlike the typical braided belt where you can insert the buckle pin anywhere into the braid, this model has large triangular cut outs for the buckle pin. For this reason, I consider it a misnomer to call it a braided belt; however, it is lumped in with the 9005, 9006, 9007, & 9008 belts which have the typical braided construction. Finally, I noticed about 99% of the Amazon reviews for this belt series are for the “other” (braided) models, leading me to believe the 9009 is a newer Falari belt.In shopping this belt, I had already grown weary of the fatal flaw in most braided belts. Specifically, most of us insert the buckle pin into the same location of a belt each time. Unfortunately with braided belts, the slender leather strands prematurely fray and disintegrate in that same spot, rendering them useless before their time. The design of the Falari 9009 should survive repetitive use far longer than any of the braided belts I’ve previously owned, and it comes with a 10-year guarantee. Yes, it’s manufactured in China, but it is an attractive, well made, 100% genuine leather belt for the bargain price of $25. Also, as another reviewer commented, the packaging of this belt is quite stunning, and I think indicative of the company’s pride in its products. Upon receiving my Black 9009, coupled by my initial impressions, I immediately ordered the Reddish Brown 9009.

A functional and fabulous belt
This belt come shipped in a nice box and could easily be given as a present worth a lot more than it is being sold for here. I bought this to go with my renn faire garb and it accents the outfit perfectly giving it the pop of color it needed. I will probably buy other colors in the future once I get more garb.

This is a real-deal woven belt.
Many belts of this type are strands of leather or artificial leather woven onto a substrate of leather that has belt holes punched in it. This item is actually woven - no substrate, and no specific places where the buckle will latch. The point: it can take a little jiggering to secure buckle tang into the weaves of the belt. Is this a big deal? No. But it was a surprise. Workmanship seems good. Sizing seems big. My waist is 36. I bought the recommended "Large." I contemplate "Medium" might have been fine.

Beautiful!
This is far enough of one of the most beautiful belts I've ever owned. Extremely great value for the money, and I have received several compliments on it. It comes in a beautiful bag inside of a very high-quality box and makes a perfect gift. Purchased the black one as well. Also, going to buy an extra set of each to have for the future as I've never found a belt of this quality for this price

Caveat Emptor
I purchased the belt on 8/8/23 and received it within a week. The belt was defective, with one of the leather strips not attached at the buckle. I submitted the return claim to Amazon, and mailed the belt back to Falari using the pre-printed return label, within the return deadline date. I never received a notification that the belt had been received at Falari, and I attempted to contact Amazon without any success since I was informed that it was past the return deadline date!! Apparently, I'm now out $29.99 due to a) a defective belt, and b) a defective merchandise return system. I'll now gladly spend my time and money at a bricks and mortar establishment to purchase my next belt and avoid the Falari/Amazon fiasco. Buyer Beware!!!
