I got this in the mail last Friday. The packaging had come apart and the plug had come off the top so I understand if some of the others lost this. I thought I had too, until I turned the box upside down and shook it. Out it popped. So if you receive your rod and things aren't all there, please check the packaging thoroughly.Anyway, LOVE the rod. I didn't catch anything but it was loads of fun. I understand that they would market this to kids, but as an adult, I enjoyed it too. I am glad I only got the 10' rod because the 12' would have been a little heavier, although I see the appeal of a longer reach.
