Cimo Armor Moto G6 Case with Shockproof Dual Layer Protection and Rugged Hybrid Shell for Motorola Moto G6 - Orange

I have gone through just about every decent-seeming case looking for one I felt I could trust for the Moto G6, because the options are so limited and not-so-great (at least right now).I ended up going with a different case (the Tudia Merge - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BCZ2CFH/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9), but I preferred this one to it in all but one major way, and that is the position of the air pockets in the corners of the black rubbery part. (It's not that rubbery, it's actually rather firm, but it's much less so than the hard orange part). The air pockets are just slightly below the actual corner, so I felt that they wouldn't be as useful for a direct corner hit on the ground, which seems to me the most likely and most damaging type of fall. The Tudia also nicely has air pockets all along the top and bottom of the case, not just on the corners. So since my main point in getting a case is safety, I went with the Merge.You can see in the picture I've attached that the air pocket is just slight to the right of the exact corner. The upper edge (on the left side of the pocket, in the photo) is pretty much where the exact corner is, so if the pocket were shifted just half its width to the left, I probably would have chosen this case instead.Otherwise, I preferred the back on this one (not perfect, but much better at avoiding sliding around), as well as the color.

The Moto G6 is an all glass (front and back) phone, and very slippery on its own. I wanted a case that would have raised edges to allow phone to sit face down, and be 'sticky' enough to pick up without a struggle or felling like it would slip out of my fingers.This case seems good on the protection side, but not sticky enough to be able to easily pick up. The sides (orange) are hard plastic, not soft TPU or the like. In addition, the sides are curved towards the back rather than straight or angled towards the front, so trying to pick it up from a flat surface is not so easy. Doesn't work for what I needed.

I liked the case until it made my phone act possessed. It started turning on an off on its own, volume would go to max and I was unable to bring it down. Clearly it just doesn't fit my phone right.

Bought this for my Mom's Moto G6 and she loves it! It fits nice and snugly and she loves the orange color band. The textured back makes it easy for her to grip. The button covers keep her from inadvertently pushing the volume and power buttons while she is talking on the phone, yet still allow her to push them and know where they are by feel when needed. She hasn't dropped the phone or anything since we got it, so cannot attest to it's strength, but it feels very sturdy.

Both the "buttons" on the rubber sheath and the "button holes" on the hard casing are off by about 1/2 cm.This effectively disables one of the volume buttons and results in the power button being continuously pressed; this effectively causes the phone to cycle on and off endlessly until the case is removed.I don't recommend this product.

I just recently purchased a Motorola Moto G6 TracFone (2018) smartphone, and have been trying to find the right kind of case for it. This case is the real thing. It fits the phone good, and looks good too. On this phone I was concerned about the side control buttons/switches working properly, since they were so close to the phone surround. This case actually has small built-in extenders that helps with this situation to give a much better control to these buttons/switches. I am completely satisfied with this product.....money well spent.

The case fit my phone perfectly and is colorfully attractive. I haven't dropped my phone yet so I can't judge its protective qualities. However, it appears to be of high quality and up to the task. I adds a certain pizzazz to an otherwise dreary black phone.

Solid protection but don't care for the neon orange color. Looks more burnt orange in pics. Would have chosen a different color if pics were accurate.
