Great for Vintage Paper Spinners
I used this tape to repair a vintage Spinning Santaโ paper cone. The whole top had torn off. This tape is a little hard to separate from the backing, but it did a great job on the repair. Itโs strong, and nearly invisible. I will gladly buy this tape again for any future repairs.

Very useful product
Fine product and sturdy for book repair. After I was comfortable handling this tape, it was really useful. I highly recommend it.

Mosquitoes away
Added a section to the top of my 18 year old screen door to find out that covers nicely. I chose clear I did not want to see it from inside the house. I do love my french doors open in the spring and fall. Love the product. You have to clean the area with non greasy product. I chose alcohol. The bond was solid and light. Not heavy rubber. Thank goodness I don't have to buy a new door now.

Works well, nearly invisible
A little difficult to get the tape separated from the paper to begin with.

Can't remove the backing paper? Read this
First of all, the product is perfect for my needs - which is to stabilize the torn pages of a battered old book. There's no way to bring this book back to pristine condition, so this tape works well for me - plenty sticky and thinner, more flexible, and more transparent than Scotch tape. I just want to be able to browse this old folio without having to mess with the pages split in half. Secondly, I read with amusement some of the one star reviews which complained that all they got was a roll of paper, no tape. The tape is there, and the easiest way I found to use it is take the 10 minutes or so to get the end started off the backing, and then never cut it flush again - just leave the paper and tape separated (using the box dispenser is easiest for this) by cutting off just the tape portion.

A Superior Product!
This is a wonderful product. I've ordered multiples and plan to order more. I've used it to repair vintage patterns, antique magazines, family letters from WWII and more. It's easy to work with and does what you want it to do... Mends items and does it in a way that helps preserves and protects the paper. Everyone has probably seen a book , newspaper, or something that has been repaired with regular tape...awful. It eventually cracks, starts to peel, turns brown and over time ,ends up making mess of what it was to have "repaired". This tape is acid free....the only tape I use. Highly recommend . A++++

Filmoplast is a must have for mending torn pages in library books!
This works perfectly to repair simple tears in the pages of my library books. Regular book tape is too thick for mending because pages eventually tear on the sides of the thicker book tape. This does not happen with the Filmoplast. I have been using this material for the past 8-9 years and find it is well worth the price. The price is also competitive to vendors such as Demco, Brodart, and the Library Store. Be aware that the tape is quite sticky and due to it's fragility can stick to itself if the user is not careful.

Great for vintage player piano rolls
I have been using Filmoplast P for years to repair damaged player piano rolls. it is very sheer, easy to work with, and hasn't ever failed me. Many of the popular vintage rolls tend to have been made on cheap, high acid paper with no obvious expectation that they would last any longer than the popularity of the current hit. And after 100 years we are still playing and enjoying them. Filmoplast takes care of the occasional damage.
