Xiaomi Redmi A5 Smartphone – 4GB+128GB, 6.52" HD+ Display, 5000mAh Battery, Android 13 Go Edition, Dual SIM – Black

I got this for my friend and she asked me to set it up for her. She only wanted it to use for calls in an emergency as she's not internet savvy. OMG I was well impressed, it made my little Google Pixel 4 look like a toy. It has all the features, picture quality from camera is great, easy set up. Will see how it goes butt for now I found it brilliant. In fact Iight just save some money instead of. Upgrading my phone I might just buy one of these.

I bought two of these. This one being the 3GB version and the other a 4GB for my daughter.I bought the 3GB for myself to use primarily as an MP3 Player and have downloaded a few games from the Play Store which run with no problem. My daughter plays Roblox on her 4GB mobile and runs fine though I haven't tried on mine but I'm not interested in Roblox.The battery life is great though I don't run any intensive applications but I don't have to worry about needing to plug in a charger. Charging is slow compared to others but then I don't have to be continually putting it on charge. Maybe every second day or so.The sound from it's speaker, which is weirdly on the top, isn't the best but does. So preferable to use the earphones or Bluetooth.I haven't used the camera much and never have really used any phone as a camera. For that I use a real camera. I found that colours aren't quite what they should be. I.e. An image with purple in it came out blue and some others like red can appear orange. They do sort of pop out better but not a true representation. I don't know if this is part of the AI? I've compared it directly with my IPhone and there certainly is a difference in colours.I have an old Redmi note 10 which I could change themes and customise almost anything on the screen but this one seems to be missing that same level of functionality. It is very basic compared to before.All in all this is a great value mobile. Maybe as a first phone or for a child. If it is broken or goes missing then it's cheap to replace.

Decent cheap value for money android phone with great battery life the only negative is the sensitivity of the finger print reader or non sensitivity very annoying .Gave up in the end .Fails more often than it works meaning you have to input your lock screen code.

Great value for money. For that price it’s really nice device that will work fine and doing its job.

I know it's cheap but...it's very basic. The camera is real bad..very grainy pictures. Worst I've seen on a mobile. The phone functions ok. Basic controls and ability to personalise. Might send back and spend a bit more

Why did you choose this product over others?:I thought this model was going to be smaller than my last phone as the description said so but the description is not accurate it's 6.88 display and not what they have put big difference

I wasn't expecting much but this is a Fantastic phone for the money, this is my fourth Xiaomi phone they have all been bomb proof, great screen , I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the photos, it looks and feels really good in the hand, it feels and looks like an expensive phone, the phone is quite slippery so a case is a must none supplied in the box, I'm just using it as an reader at the moment and a backup phone, highly recommended.

Lost my phone ( WHICH OF COURSE TURNED UP LATER ! ) so bought as a replacement based solely on price. Didn't expect much but surprised how up to date it is. Very intuitive to use & is now my main phone. For a budget phone its brilliant based on my experience & use. Just to add I am not a gamer so cant comment on that aspect of usage.
