What an amazing machine. If you’re trying to get into mixing dubstep and riddim, this is the weapon. I was using a laptop based controller before, but the standalone is the best way to fully immerse yourself in your sets and feel the music. It’s also ergonomic as you’re not looking at a laptop screen. The controls are so seamless and so easy to manipulate throughout the set and transitions can be done so smoothly. This is great for beginners and the professionals speak highly of it as well. I just love dropping doubles with this thing and learning how to chop! Effect application is also more seamless than laptop dependent models like the DDJFLX6. If you’re serious about learning how to DJ, hobbyist or pro, this is such a great investment.
