Sony PlayStation 2 Console

Just arrived today. I tested everything out and it reads discs without issue. It is definitely used, as it is pretty dirty and the CMOS battery is dead. There is wear on the console, it has some significant scratches on top and lots more on the bottom but I won't be running it upside down so not the end of the world. I plan on modifying this console anyway, so I'll clean it, treat the scratches, and replace the CMOS battery. Then it should be 100%. I am glad it still has all it's feet. I've come across many with missing feet. Overall I'm happy with it.

Works like a gem! The disc tray was slightly broken and wouldn't stay open, but I was able to fix it. The appeal for me was the official Sony controller, since they can be up to $60 alone. The power cord I received was not the original. I think someone mentioned that they also got the plug with two round edges instead of the round/square edge. It still works though, so it is not a problem for me! Controller and system were slightly dusty, but in very excellent condition. No loose buttons, the L3 and R3 both click firmly. Highly recommend!

PS2 arrived and did not work. I think the laser was out of alignment. Requested a return and the seller did send a return label but one that expired in two days. I did not realize it only had two days, as this is not how most Amazon returns work. Usually, you have several weeks. So, the first strike was on me where I should have paid more attention. That being said I reached out to the seller multiple times asking if they would work with me since their product did not work. The never once even acknowledged I existed. Like I said I am responsible for missing the shipment window but shouldn't the seller at least respond to me, even if it was to say they could not redo a return label? VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Had a problem reading blue discs. Had to open it up and fix it myself. Working perfectly fine now, freemcboot and all! If you expect your console to be “like new” i would look elsewhere

Ok, I changed my mind on my rating for this PS2, why? Cause I just recived my replacement controller today, and my new game, and I couldn’t play it cause the disk tray was jammed, and the eject button didn’t bother to work, as if the PS2 couldn’t eject at all, on top of that After manually taking it apart to unjam the disk tray, witch, I couldn’t because it was really jammed in the console, And I was never told the disk tray was damaged in the first place, next time, let the costumer know that, so we know what we will get...thank you...I wouldn’t recommend it..
