The handle was covered in cellophane, which ruined the grip tape when it was removed. I'm not sure if this is because of the manufacturer or the storage, but this stick is now useless. I bought it as a Christmas present, so it wasn't fully unwrapped until the weather was a bit nicer, but now it's outside of the return window. Really disappointed as I did some research and expected better from the brand

Broke on first outing, not well made. Head chipped to the point of being unusable and shaft broke in tackle.
