You get what you pay for
If say just go to the store and get better ones or spend the extra money. You get what you pay for situation. If youre not trying to hang anything like a curtain you should be okay. The quality seems unstable and flimsy.

Cheap and functional
Functional and worth the price. These are incredibly cheap, and you get what you paid for. It comes in a two pack so if one breaks on the first try you got a second one. It worked for me. What holds the curtains up in my bathroom window just fine?.

This rod doesn't have enough strength/spring tension/grip to hold much up. Put it in a narrow hall closet and keeps falling down with a winter coat on it.

Disappointed Doesn’t Hold as Promised I had high hopes for this tension rod, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the claims. Despite following all instructions, it keeps slipping down after a short time even with lightweight curtains. The grip pads don’t seem strong enough, and the tension weakens quickly.
