Great walking shoes
I used these for my 16 year old lab mixHe has osteoarthritis with neurological deficits therefore dragging his back legs. These shoes helped him maintain strength and alignment to continue our nightly walks. He was 16 and knew his โmagic โ shoes helped him enjoy his time with his family.

Best so Far
We have an older, long legged rescue that has been with us since she was a pup. She started out with underdeveloped back legs, gained strength and became very active with daily runs and weekend hikes, and has since had surgery on one of those back legs in her old age. Now, she is struggling daily with dragging her paws and sometimes walking on her knuckles to the point that her nails will bleed from being ground down (we no longer clip the nails on those paws).I wasn't hopeful when searching for a dog boot or sock because the ones I've tried in the past would simply slip off. But, I decided to take a chance, and I'm glad that I did! These aren't perfect. We only use them on her back paws, because those are the only ones that need them. But I will say, that they are the best that we've found so far.Cons:1. They will sometimes twist. As long as she's on a walk by herself, it's easy to take the time to twist it back around to the correct position. But if all 3 dogs are on a walk with one person, it's a bit harder to do.2. There are no washing instructions. Since we don't have sidewalks where we live, she is walking on wet grass in the mornings and possibly getting urine on them. They are short boots (which is in general a pro for her), and are by no means waterproof. The waterproof factor isn't that big of deal to us. However, they do smell gross after a walk and it'd be nice to have washing instructions.Pros:1. This might be because they are only on her back paws, but she doesn't mind wearing them at all! She doesn't do that awkward high step like she did in the previous ones and doesn't try to take them off.2. The short length is perfect for mobility. It doesn't constrain her.3. The velcro secures them so that they do not come off.4. The traction is fantastic! No slip sliding around.5. They are proving to be as durable as a human shoe. As I said before, she drags those paws and sometimes will step on her knuckle. She seems to step on her knuckle less in these. I don't know how long they will last, but I imagine they will last about as long as a human shoe would last if I were to drag my toe on the ground everyday for my walk. It's nice that we have 2 pairs since we are only using them for her back legs. All in all, we are very pleased. Dog's paws aren't human feet. Is there a way to design a generic dog boot that won't have it occasionaly twist around? Haven't found one yet. I do wish that there were clear washing and drying instruction. Other than that, very good product that I would recommend.

Bloody dog paws.
These boots caused my dog bloody, excoriated spurs, or dew claws, after 15 mins of running despite being sized appropriately and being placed appropriately on his paws. I took some pictures of my dogs bloody paws, but Amazon won't approve my review if I post them with the review, even though it is not in violation of their review policy. I only know this bc I read it after being referred to it. Amazon, as always, only cares about sales and will not allow pictures of bloody dog paws to be posted bc it would decrease sales and therefore profit.Edit: The manufacturer of these boots has offered me a refund so I will note the positives of these boots as compaired to others I have tried. These boots stay on very well, the bottoms seem durable and as if they would last. You may be able to use these successful with socks underneath. Perhaps the manufacturer might think about putting some sort of padding on the inside to prevent dew paw rubbing.

they work great and fit my 70# shepherd.
hahaha these work great. its funny watching my shepherd clomp around in them until she got used to them. seems to add some grip on surfaces and doesn't hinder her movement at all after the "getting used to them" phase (which only takes a few minutes.

No they don't stay on!
We have an Aussie pooh and the fact is no matter how tight you put them on she can easily loose them in the snow on her back paws. Not as advertised!

Good product; I like the boots!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased these dog boots in November of 2020 for my 9-year-old Doberman. I did not want to immediately write a review until I had a chance to check out the boots. I wanted to give a true and honest review, and now I am ready. I researched a variety of boots and reviewed a lot of online reviews, both good and bad reviews. I finally settled with Expawlorer because of the tread of the boot, the 2 velcro straps & the height of the boots for rain and snow conditions. My Doberman started to get arthritis in all 4 of her paws and legs, and her paws were giving out both indoors and outdoors. I really like the boots. They are well made, especially the tread and velcro. I wanted a rubber tread in case I wanted to use them indoors. The velcro straps are durable, and they wrap around my Doberman's leg very nicely. She only lost 1 boot in the yard because I didn't have the boot securely velcroed. I never had to purchase any boots for any of my Dobermans. I am thoroughly happy with these boots. There are 4 boots in this box. Watch, some companies have only 2 in the package so be careful reading the descriptions. I uploaded copies of each side of the box and a video to help anyone out that is undecided. At first, of course, my Doberman didn't like them, and it was something she had to get use to. Remember, dogs use their pads to feel so having boots on their paws takes away their sense of feeling the ground. On the box, there was no listing for a Doberman size. Even though I measured her foot according to the directions online, the box was slightly different in the directions. My Doberman measured at a size 6, but I ordered a size 7 because a prior review from a customer stated her dog got a sore on its paw from rubbing inside the boot. I am not sure if it was this boot, but I errored on the side of caution, and went up in size. Yes, the boots are "slightly" big around the first part of her paw, but when I velcro both straps around my dog's leg, its fine. I know that the company states waterproof, but I say water resistant. Hands down, I really like these boots, and I recommend them.
