Banff National Park [Map Pack Bundle] (National Geographic Trails Illustrated Map)

It's not perfect, I do wish it was easier on my eyes and had more hiking information, but these maps in my experience have been the best bet for traveling. I looked at other maps of the area, and this one had the most detail. Can't go wrong with a Nation Geo map.

Great map

Nothing was wrong with the map itself-but when I got it, it was a map for Jasper National Park!

The scale it a bit large and this make navigation a challenge otherwise a great map

NG topo maps are always known to be of the highest quality. Beautiful to look at, real pieces of art. The graphics are so well done you almost expect to feel the features.

It was useless in helping us plan and explore. It lacks road map information. I'm not sure what exactly it is meant for other than an overall scope. The 2 stars is because the actual paper and graphics are high quality. Just wish the content was there.... I will cut and paste this comment on the map for Jasper which was exactly the same in uselessness.

I bought these maps for planning a long hike on the Great Divide Trail. They were basically useless for this purpose, to the point that I'm not sure what these maps are for? Why would National Geographic publish what is effectively a road map plus topo? Only the MOST famous and popular trails are on them. The GDT runs on a lot of decommissioned/unmaintained trails, none of which are included on these maps. Hikers always get pushed to carry paper maps for safety reasons; what good is a map if the majority of the trails aren't included?Unfortunately the return window closed while I was hiking, so I can't recoup my losses.Don't waste your money.

These maps are great. However from this seller The ad title says jasper and description states jasper however The photo shows Banff. First time I ordered I received Banff. Returned and reorderd, second time I recieced Moab maps in a Banff package. As good as the quality and detail of the nation geo maps are for their scale, Banff and Moab maps are very poor tools for navigating jasper. Attempting for the third time tonight. Even though I won’t get the (hopefully) Jasper maps in time to use them in the jasper area!On a side note the Nat Geo Baja north and South were also great, with the added benefit of actually getting what I ordered the first time.
