Magazine reprint is in extremely tiny, totally unreadable print
I was so excited to get this book. Excitement turned into angry frustration when I saw that, as the first reviewer mentioned, the reprints of all the issues of slash magazine are in tiny, completely unreadable print. You need to buy a magnifying glass to read It. I tried doing it but it's very slow going and Irritating. I'm sorry but in my opinion that is a huge mistake. Slash magazine is a very huge deal in l.a. punk history , and I don't think they treated this material respectfully. I paid good money for this book. Where is the logic to print a cool book in microscopic, unreadable printing? When 99.9 percent of books we read and buy are not printed this way. It's funny too, because there are many almost blank white pages in this book, so saving space was not a priority. Are we to believe this is a coffee table book or something? There are other photos, essays and interviews, but the small print sort of ruins the whole book; to read it with a magnifying glass is like a chore, not fun like it should be. Buyer beware, know what you are getting into.

Slash trying to read this one...but the pictures are good
This book seemed to be a very promising great addition to my library of art books and punk ephemera. It is gorgeously pictorial, but the typeset is obscenely small even a magnifying glass won't help...Kind of ironic that this book reflects the superficiality of those who had something to say, which inevitably became wholly fixated on style over substance. Well done.
