Bought a similar kit for 1/4" grommets that worked great. This one, however, came in a box with a broken catch. All of the ring backs were loose, so traveled around in the case (which was more than half empty!!) so I'll have to spend time sorting them all.The hole punch is blunt on one side, so I can't get a clean cut circle, and the hole cut is too big, so the fabric doesn't get properly caught in the grommet. And it's not eligible for returns! Appalling.

Such a good little kit! Great value for what you get and easy to use. I'm very pleased!

The eyelets and washers are 5mm, but the setting tool is actually 4mm, meaning that the eyelet deforms when set because it compresses down instead of out over the inner lip of the washer. Box was broken when it arrived and the eyelets and washers went everywhere. Extremely poor.

I just reinforced the shoelace holes on my shoes with eyelets and the all went on nicely. It may not be as comfortable as a set of pliers, but it certainly does the job well enough for me.

easy to use. i put the eyelets into heavy plastic curtains for hanging in my workshop. the eyelets are getting pulled on a lot & withstanding the abuse brilliantly
