Five Stars
Love this wax! It is so easy to work with and leaves a beautiful finish! I painted my enter bedroom set and it covered well with 2 coats! The second coat I watered down just a little. Love it and very compatible to Annie Sloan (my opinion)

Awesome and truly beginner friendly!
This was my first time ever both painting furniture and using chalk paint. After researching, I decided on this brand because of the ease of everything in a kit and that it was cheaper than Annie Sloan. It was EXTREMELY easy to use, I did two coats to even out some of the brush strokes but almost could have gotten away with one. The only thing I didn't like was the wax, I only used the clear on the parts with the stencils and the lower drawers, I tried several techniques with the brush and without and I just don't like the unevenness of the finish. The color Veridian was exactly what I wanted, somewhere right between rich emerald and hunter green and its absolutely stunning, the photo doesn't do it justice. After finishing this dresser I still have more than half the can, so even with thick coats it goes a long way! Would definitely purchase again.

Do not buy this product!
The can was less than 1/3 full when I opened it for the first time. And it was black - NOT what I expected! I was expecting a darker brown. I followed the instructions on a YouTube video - applied a very small amount of the wax and then add in some of the white wax to clean up and lighten the finished product. I figured the black wouldn’t hurt - might give it a good look since I was applying it over gray paint. The paint came off! What a mess! Totally ruined the look on my vintage fireplace! I sure hope I am able to get paint to stick over the wax - I plan to reseal it with Kilz and repaint again. I’d that doesn’t work - there will be hell to pay. I will NOT sacrifice my 100 year old fireplace for this kink of crap!

it just looked like I rubbed dirt on it
This wax is junk! I almost ruined a China cabinet by using this wax. It's hard and dried up. It went on sticky and thick. When I tried to buff it into the piece, it just looked like I rubbed dirt on it. I have to rewax the entire peice with another brand of soft clear wax to restore the finish. Do not buy....unless you like a finished piece that looks like it survived a mudslide.

#1 chalk paint!
I am in LOVE with this chalk paint! So much that now I'm looking for anything to paint! I used romance to refinish an old vanity that I use for craft supplies, and it looks just so beautiful!

The wax dried way to fast to work with, ...
The wax dried way to fast to work with, did not spread evenly. I had to have a wax brush in one hand and the rag to rub the wax in the other. We even had two people, one putting light wax on and the other rubbing the wax off to get a light antique finish. We watched the video from the company and waxed with clear wax first and then used clear wax to remove excess. I bought the chalk paint so I did not have to sand my table but after putting this wax on for a light antique look it was a much work as sanding. I spent hours rubbing, removing this and it still looks uneven.

Easy and looks great!
Tried chalk paint and this dark wax on my bathroom cabinet and it looks great! I would love to do my kitchen cabinets too but we will see how this holds up in the bathroom first.

Best stuff out there!
This is the only finishing was I'll use. I've used it on tables, chairs, cabinets. It's absolutely awesome. I've tried other craft finishing waxes and polishes, even Minwax (which I HATED). This is by far the best. You can make chalk paint no problem, but if you don't have a good finish, your project isn't going to look good. Save the money on the paint, make it yourself, and use the money to buy this wax.
