This isn't the most elegant looking unit but it has some great points for my purpose: 1)It is slimmer than the other units out there and where I installed it I had very limited space due to a window. 2) I can easily access a bunch of towels from the top portion without any panel to open. 3) It holds a good amount of towels at once. 4) The company that sells this unit has the best customer service I have ever seen. That's a huge bonus in my opinion. I also like that being clear, it makes it much more inconspicuous. Works very well. Just make sure towels are pulled from the center and not to the side. This holds with ALL towel units and does not reflect on the quality of the towel dispenser. Common sense and proper use goes a long way! (These two things seem to be lacking when some reviews are posted). I do lots of canning so quick and clean access to paper towels keeps the food and area cleaner and reduces germs. Rolled paper towels are not as handy.

Took a while to find this slim one for a tight space in the bath room. Works well, except that the sides of the slot for the paper towel to pass through aren't very smooth, so the paper makes a "scratchy" noise when passing through. Not a major issue if it's a trade-off for the slim size.

We purchased this a few months ago to place in a powder room, so that visiting kids were not using a damp towel over & over, and ultimately spreading germs! We loved it & received MANY positive comments on it. Sadly, a small crack started in one corner, so I am re-ordering this one. Hopefully, we received a lemon & the new one will not do the same thing. Overall, I would have given it a 5 star review, until the crack, then it went to 3. We tried 2 different kinds of paper towel (also from Amazon) and found the Tork brand to hold up better than Klennex. The Tork brand NEVER tears when we pull a sheet out, while the Klennex brand often did. They were both of equal softness, which was just "ok". I wish that I could buy something super soft, that never tore (like Tork). Hope this helps someone! No one really likes using someone else's towels in a bathroom. Get a dispenser instead! So much more hygienic! Perhaps I should have contacted customer service about the crack, however I usually struggle to understand them, and vice versa, so I hesitate to contact Amazon CS anymore! Are you listening Amazon?!?!

UPDATE 5/4/15I now love them and what a great investment in my home. The clear plastics has grown on me. I have been using for 4 months and appreciate how handy. I'm am able to pull from the bottom for 1 towel or from top for a few.I purchased 4 and 3 are in use. I didn't put one in the kitchen and still have paper roll from a stand. Funny but I find myself waking 10 feet to the nearest dispenser instead of using the Roll. If my hands are dirty or wet I have to touch the whole roll to take a towel. Not with the dispenser just pull. I do suggest a "quick tug" as to not rip the towel. The unit was installed correctly and will not move or break no matter how hard I tug. Well made and yes will flex and not break..... Awesome.

Overall, works well but for some reason (design?) the towels ARE a little difficult to pull out without tearing. I love the look and the concept but they just don't pull "easily" and you have to "yank" a little bit and make sure you pull "with just the right amount of pressure and direction" - so it's a bit fiddly and drives my hubby crazy - he says it should be easey-peasey ... and I think he's right. And if your hands are damp, you end up with a little piece of the paper towel in your hand and not the full-sized towel - enough, lol, to wipe up an ant or two walking around.

I bought this product because I have a small laundry room and needed something to hold paper towels. I had a round paper towel roll holder in there originally, but I found that it was bulky and took up too much room. I found this product by looking for the most compact and simple folded towel holder I could find. The space where I wanted to put it is under the cabinets, where there is not much room available on the wall. It had to be small enough not only to hold the paper towel, but to have room on top to fill it. This works for me and I also like the clear plastic. There was a smoked color available, but I like this one because it has a clean, uncluttered look and is functional.
