Garrett Ace 250 Metal Detector with Digging Trowel, Finds Pouch and Carry Bag

This is a terrific deal! If purchased from Garret, you would spend much more. The Ace 250 is a good machine, but it takes a while to get used to. Headphones are great with volume control. Small shovel is perfect for detecting. It is durable, plus non-metal, so you can dig up dir and just wave it in front of the coil to better locate your find. This set also comes with a coil cover, so your coil won't get scratched.

it works great, I found 50 cents already, lol - the DVD is very informative..we put different coins under the carpet and played a game to see if the metal detector actually detected the right coin or metal and it did perfectly every time. Can't wait to find more stuff!!

Like it a lot. Only used 2 times and I am not very good with gadgets but, was able to find stuff first time out. The pinpoint capability is great!

received garrett detector on time. product was packaged very nice. everything was in box that was suppose to be. came with batteries also. the kit contains all the basic things needed to begin detecting. I took this out first day for about 15 min in front yard and found my first coin. am very satisfied with the ace 250. price was reasonable also. would recommend to anyone beginning the detecting hobby. manual is very easy to read and detector is easy to assemble

Nice kit. The vendor was awesome. It arrived two days early. I couldn't find a part, it was there, and emailed the guy. He offered to ship it overnight no questions asked. The machine is well done. The coin tone helps noobs spot good signals easily and the controls are very intuitive. Not a batterie hog.

Good detector however it did not come as advertised. It was missing the headphones and dvd. Did a return and replacement. The replacement arrived the exact same way, no headphones or DVD. Items should be checked for accuracy to what is advertised. Was able to come to some resolution with Amazon, but now I need to get headphones for it

I love the detector, but the accessories are somewhat cheap. The zipper on the carrying bag broke the first time I zipped it closed. Also the plastic digging tool is a joke.

I purchased for my husband's birthday and he is very happy with it. Just what he wanted. I researched prior to buying and found this set up to be the best bang for the buck and he wanted all the accessories to go with it.

Good for learners works great found lots of junk in the ground so I know it works well
