I got this for my new Regal Jumping Spiders enclosure. So far it looks great. It came in a vaccumed sealed pouch. It actually looks really green. I didn't find any bad smell. I read one review that said it had a chemical smell to it but thankfully it only smells earthy. I am satisfied with this product and will buy again when needed.

I bought this blindly hoping it was good quality and was not disappointed. It’s soft, plush and green. Perfect for my little geckos. It hold moisture well and remains soft even dry.

This was good healthy moss and lasted me for months. It was more than needed for my 50 gal terrarium, so I was able to replace old moss with new moss from the bag often! Does require somewhat frequent watering, I think that’s most moss though lol. Gets in my geckos way when she hunts for crickets but I think the biodiversity is good and it also helps the crickets thrive in the meantime before my geckos eats them lol.

This moss is fantastic, grow up when you add water, is easy to use, color is brown but when you open the vacuum sealed package and adding water, will grow more green. I use only less than half the package and after soaking, there was a lot of moss, green and with a great smell. I use one part in my tortoise enclosure, but plan to use the rest of the package. It is easy to clean, just get a big recipient, put the moss, add some water, not a lot like half of the moss used, and in 10 min, moss will grow and turning green, soak the rest, change the water, and that’s it. For the money paid, it is a great quality moss, size is fine, and price is inexpensive.

I purchased this product with the intention of creating a mossy hide for my snake, and overall, it worked well for that purpose. The dried moss has a vibrant color, looks semi-realistic, and has a decent texture. However, the main issue I encountered was how dusty it was—some of the moss had degraded into a powder at the bottom of the bag. Fortunately, the rest of it was in good condition and usable. Knowing it is reptile-safe and easy to work with, I’d say this is a good product for creating decorations or functional additions to reptile enclosures. It also retains moisture well, making it a great option for a humid shedding cave. That said, I wouldn’t recommend this for reptiles that enjoy eating greens or licking their environment due to its brittle texture and resemblance to edible vegetation. For other uses, though, it works just fine and serves its purpose effectively.

I bought this for my son's indoor American toad tank and suzie just loves it as she hides under it as her camouflage. Yes it has a slight smell at first but only like earthy tone until drys a little bit but other then that its great. I use it on top of the coconut husk bedding and perfect little set up..

I use this moss for a tortoise enclosure, it is very soft and easy to rehydrate and put in your terrarium. You get quite a bit for the price, and you can use it for just about any reptile enclosure. It holds moisture well to keep the humidity up in the enclosure. It isn’t a very vibrant green, it is very natural looking. The size of the package is small, but once you rehydrate it with a little water it expands and you get much more than you anticipate.

Tightly vacuum sealed, green, fresh. Expanded like crazy with water. Great stuff!
