It works pretty well but only on the part of toilet bowl that's under water. The rest of the bowl I still have to scrub.Price has been going up a bit too much. Bought this (6 cartridges) for $35 in 2017, then for $44 in December 2020 and now it's $70. Seems a bit greedy IMO.

I've been using the Neverscrub system on three toilettes in my home for over two years now. I first bought it at a local Menards, which no longer carries it. I've purchased the six pack a couple times from Amazon. I have not found a better deal for Neverscrub refills yet. For a year's supply (12 refills for three toilettes, assuming a three-month refill schedule), I am only saving $1.35 buy from Amazon with Prime (they are $91.35 for three four-packs from Neverscrub with domestic USA shipping and $90 for two six-packs from Amazon). But when buying the 4-packs directly from Neverscrub directly, the refills come unpackaged. When I buy these six packs from Amazon, they come in the packaging, which makes it easier to stack and store in my supply closet. Also, with Prime I get them in two days.I've found that these are excellent for preventing rings and stains above the waterline. I would recommend starting with a well-scrubbed and white bowl first as I think these are better for KEEPING the bowl clean, not for removing stains. You'll find other reviews arguing both sides of this. Also, it is not 100% never scrub. Sorry to be graphic, but if someone has a large dump that leaves skid marks, the Neverscrub is not going to magically dissolve that. Don't throw away your toilette bowel scrubber. You'll likely need it on occasion.This is really about keeping rings and stains from forming and helping keep your toilette bowl water smelling fresh, particularly useful if you have a toilette that gets used less frequently and leaves water sitting unflushed for longer periods of time.It is not perfect but make life easier.

Easy drop in to dispenser and forget. Has minor ammonia type smell.

I was really torn on how to rate this. I originally purchased it b/c last summer I was getting a black ring around my toilet that I had to clean the toilets about every four days. This worked really well in getting rid of that black mold ring.What I don't like...after a while it left yellow stains in my toilets. It's left these in three of our four toilets. One was streaked where the water runs down after flushing at the other two had a yellow ring at the water's edge in the bowl. The only one that doesn't have the yellow stains is the toilet that is used the most in the master bath. The only way I could get rid of the yellow stain was with Clorox bleach and even that took a lot of work. The yellow stains make it look like your toilet hasn't been cleaned for while.For now I'm going to go back to cleaning the toilets every few days in the summer when the black ring pops up with our high humidity here. Someone told me that leaving the lid open helps, so I'll try that too. It means I'll clean more often, but it's quick. Scrubbing the yellow stains these left was not quick.

I installed these in two toilets over a year ago and have been completely satisfied. For ages I had to scrub the toilet bowl every week to keep the black streaks from forming and remove stains. I almost never have to touch them now. It's a bit of expense to install a new refill every three months, but worth it to me. I don't really need to track the time because when the bleach product runs out I start getting the streaks again, a perfectly good reminder! I do use teflon tape on the threads each time I replace the cartridge, because they will leak and I don't want the chlorine in the tank eating away the rubber components in the flush valve and flapper. Definitely recommend the product.

I used NeverScrub about 10 years ago then we moved and the toilets were not set up to be able to use the NeverScrub. Well we changed the working in the tank of the toilet and am now able to use them again. I order the full set with the holder and installed them on the toilets and then one day I saw that the toilet was not clean and thought it was that the Neverscrub no longer worked like when I bought it 10 years ago, and I was so disappointed. Then I looked and realize it had been 6 months since I installed the Neverscrub. So I cleaned the toilets and refilled the neverscrub and I am now a very happy housewife. I will continue to use Neverscrub as long as I have toilets.
