The first thing to say is this is NOT a 'toy'. What you receive is an exquisite fully operational miniature 'half-hunter' pocket watch with a rose-glass cover so that you can read the time without the need to release the front cover; and a beautiful bottle fob with the classic words 'Drink me' escutcheoned on the label - all supplied on a beautiful watch chain. The watch is driven by a quartz watch movement; the watch face displays the time in the analogue pointer format; and observance of the 'sweep' hand - which beats out the time is seconds - informs the watch reader that the watch is operating - but - it may not display the 'right' time if the watch is set to 'Wonderland' time - setting it a few minutes 'slow' will mean you will always arrive late and leave late, whilst setting the watch a few minutes 'fast' will mean that you will always arrive early and leave early. The watch is the perfect size for smart witty children who wish to own and use a fabulous pocket time piece instead of a boring wristwatch, or use as a 'prop' (property) to complement a White Rabbit costume. The watch also makes a terrific necklace for a Victorian porcelain (bisque) doll. All you need now is a mariners sundial and mariners sextant (both are available from Amazon) and you can locate your whereabouts anywhere on the planet. Of course the DVD of Alice in Wonderland starring Tina Majorina as Alice is a MUST OWN classic of amazing cinematography. Oh - did I tell you that the best version of Alice through the looking glass is the one where Kate Beckinsale plays Alice? I DIDN'T? - oh how remiss of me - please don't' tell The White Knight - he might not sing the wonderful ditty 'A sitting on a gate' - and then where would we be if Alice and the viewer never learn that if you ask a silly question then expect a silly answer.

I sent the pocket watch necklace to my goddaughter, so didn't see it myself and she was very pleased with it. Despite all the postal issues at the moment it arrived in time for Christmas.I would recommend M&M jewellery if you are looking for something a little bit different. Happy with everything.

I absolutely love this.I have given it 4 stars because at first it turned my neck green due to being a base metal so put a bit of varnish on it and it has been fine since, touch wood😂I’m obsessed with Alice in wonderland at the moment and this was perfect!!Thank you so much

Really beautiful pocket watch. I didn't read all the information apparently, so it was bigger than I'd expected, but the detail is so gorgeous. Arrived in a lovely gift box and ticking away. The chain is nice and slinky but feels strong. Love it
