We love citrus juice when citrus is in season, and use a lot of it for cooking in general. Even with that preference, I couldn't commit to a juicer with a motor - it just seemed expensive, wasteful, and, well...trendy. After reviewing a lot of manual juicers, this one seemed to be a good choice. We're glad that we've picked this one up. It does make short work of a flat of oranges and grapefruit. It is not difficult to use, it is not tiresome to use. It is easy to clean. The gripper feet on the bottom hold it well in place on the right surface - we usually have it on a steel prep table, but it will even work on the oak table top. We end up freezing a lot of the juice when citrus is in season for drinking or cooking later in the year. As one reviewer noted, the base could have been a tiny bit wider maybe to accommodate a 4-cup Pyrex measuring cup to catch the juice, but a 2-cup version works just fine. Maybe the way it is built is the best ergonomic design that makes it so easy to use.

Sturdily built. Does not require great effort. Let’s some but not all pulp through, but you can scrape some more off the stainless hull. Will fit most oranges but with some of the most giant navels you can miss the outside perimeter. Works great with the Kara Karas which have a great flavor. Easy to clean. Zen feeling from squeezing your own manually. Worth every penny. Hint, Anchor Hocking $3.99 8oz covered measuring cup from Tarjay fits perfectly underneath. Perfect for storing the next day’s supply in the fridge if you are inclined to do some in advance.

This Juicer Is very easy to use. The rack and pinion gearing design requires minimum effort from the operator. This juicer does not want to tip forward like some of those with the handle in the front. It is well built, and easy to clean. There are two minor disadvantages to this juicer: 1 - The presser cup is a bit small and will not handle large grapefruit well. 2 - The unit is tall and will not fit on my countertop underneath the upper cabinets. I believe this is the best manual juice press for the price.

We've had this juicer for about a week, and have used it to juice lemons, tangerines, and oranges from our back yard. This juicer is very well designed. My kids can use it safely and easily, it's a breeze to clean, and it seems to be extremely well built with a very smooth action. My only wish is that the base were slightly wider, but that's a small nitpick. So many other juicers on Amazon seem to be various rebrands of a lesser quality product. This one stands alone.

I have 12 citrus trees in my yard so I juice a lot. After my electric juicer broke I ordered this one and it has done as advertised. Easy to operate and easy to clean with great yield. When using my old juicer I would have to take it apart and clean out the pulp after juicing 15 or 20 oranges/satsumas. Using this juicer I can process at least one and sometimes two 5 gallon buckets of oranges/satsumas before I have to clean out the pulp.The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is in my opinion it could use several updates. A handle that can be switched from left or right handed would be nice. If the grip on the handle would spin similar to a boat trailer winch handle it would be easier to use. The juicer handles almost all of my citrus. The one exception is my grapefruit, which I can juice but it is messy. If the juicer was a little larger in diameter it would handle all of my juicing needs.

Don’t waste you money on less expensive or more expensive for that matter unless you have huge grapefruits. Great heavy duty juicer.

Perfect for lemons and limes but not oranges.

Smooth handle makes it easy to use and get the most juice.Works great. Except for the grapefruits, as they are bigger and need to try to fit it in.
