This was a great replacement from my original. My water and ice taste exactly what it should taste like. For the negative comments on here maybe I could help with a solution; FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.Did I experience the slow drip, yes. Once I thought I installed the filter properly, I experienced a very slow drip out of my refrigerator faucet. My first thought was I experienced something from the negative reviews off of amazon.com. I was wrong, happily. I reinstalled the filter 3 times and on the third attempt, I heard a suction seal from the water line and water filter. Right after I heard the seal I had smooth water flow.Did I experience the metallic water taste, No. I read the directions on the side of the filter and filter box. This filter recommends approximately 2.5 gallons or 05 minutes of water to be ran from the water sourse, through the filter and out of the fridgerator.I did have my ice turned off for some time and it took a few days for my ice maker to really start making ice, but my icer is making tons of ice and it taste fine. I would highly recommend this filter over the Fisher & Paykel filter only because it cost more then twice as much.

These filters were a perfect fit for my Fisher Pykel refrigerator. I was skeptical at first since these were $40 less than the manufacture recommended filters. Living in Salem, Oregon, we have excellent tap water already so we do not need to filter out any bad tastes in our water. I will definitely be buying more of these and won't feel bad about having to replace the cartridge every six months.

I chose this product over the more expensive OEM counterpart and I wasn't diapointed!The water has a taste that is very similar to the OEM model. The water flow rate had greatly reduced over time with the older filter and I could see it restored as soon as this new filter was in place.The only down side I could find is that the total volume rating is significantly less than the OEM filter, so heavy water drinkers might have to change it more often.

I installed this about 6 weeks ago in my Fisher & Paykel refrigerator. I flushed it copiously as the instructions stated. The water tastes as good as from the original F & P filter at a fraction of the price. Recommended.

After reading positive reviews on Amazon, I purchased this fridge filter as a replacement filter for my Fisher & Paykel fridge. The filter is a great replacement -- it fits perfectly, and I haven't noticed any reduction in water flow. The water tastes exactly the same as with the original Fisher & Paykel filter. Overall, a good product at much lower cost.EDIT:Based on my positive experience, I recently purchased the same filter for the second time. However, the second one didn't work properly -- water had an unpleasant metallic taste and odor. I decided to purchase the original Fisher & Paykel water filter to see if there is a difference in metallic taste and unpleasant odor. And there certainly is -- the metallic odor and taste is completely gone. The water from the fridge tastes good again. I'll never again purchase this filter made in China. Yes, the original filter costs more, but at least I know it meets US specification requirements (and it's made in the USA).

So far this filter is working great! Past attempts at non OEM filters were dissappointing with low water flow & so far this one has been great. If it continues to function I plan on buy more to have ready.
