I purchased for my home office, works great with usb c adapter with optical hookup
This Soundbar changed my office, I can hear everything outside when playing with my dog clear as day. Usually Soundbars are for tvs and entertainment centers but that little adapter made it work perfectly with my laptop, which is docked with 3 external monitors. On the Soundbar I raised the volume to the max and control volume level thru laptop. Would be difficult to get similar setup with out buying a whole stereo setup for office. I like to play music really loud when I deep in work mode, feels like it focuses me on work and avoid distractions

Good for the money, but not great. Some issues.
Sound quality for music is good, but for streaming from a HiSense TV, the vocals sounded worse than my 10 year old Vizio sound bar. EZ connect feature also does not work on the HiSense Fire TV. Audio also takes a long time to auto turn on.

Love it. Only way it could be better is a little more low bass for rumble, and then maybe surround. Other then fantastic.

Settings cleared and not persistent, poor customer support
I bought this 3.1 soundbar specifically to adjust the center channel for dialogue. I was able to customize the speaker and dialogue settings to my satisfaction (audio was good), but I was finding that the settings were reset to the defaults every time the system went into standby. I can't be adjusting audio settings every time I want to sit down and watch TV. My expectation is that settings should be persistent (as is the case for other manufacturers) over time. I tried working with Hisense support to reach a resolution. I tried their chat which failed. I tried email. They emailed me four separate times, asking for redundant information that I had already provided to them in past emails. It felt like with each new email I was starting from scratch with a new tech support person who didn't take the time to review the history on my open ticket. After a week of this back and forth without a resolution, I decided just to return this and go with a soundbar from a different brand. I've owned several other brands (Vizio, Sony) and I've never had issues like this. Avoid Hisense.
