Ok for the price
For the cost it is ok to practice common suture techniques but it is no good at all good for subcuticular suturing or for learning complex closure techniques. The inner material isn't strong enough to hold the suture, it tears right through it.

Good for practice
This little thing is delightful and makes for great practice but I wish there was a way to secure it down to the table or something...its very lightweight so it moves when I adjust my hands which doesn't really mimic what its like to suture a stationary patient. Love it!!

Just OK
The reason I am giving it a 2 star rating is because the product rips easily. It may simulate the three layers of tissue, but the suture will pull right through the silicone not allowing for the suture to pull the layers together.

Rips easily
Great that the suture pad has different types of incisions and has color coded layers. Unfortunately the silicon it rips very easily when suturing.

Seems to be durable
Haven’t used it yet but seems to be durable. This item was advised to me by one of the professors.
