Got this as a slightly healthier option to Froot Loops (yes its Froot not Fruit!). The smell is quite similar and they are smaller and have a crunchier texture. They are sweet tasting, but not as cloyingly sweet as Froot Loops. Some kids might complain about that and that the fruit flavor isn't as punchy, which isn't surprising because I think it's flavored more "naturally". I wouldn't ever say this is a health food by any means, but it's got a little bit more fiber and protein and less sugar. Plus, it's gluten free if you have celiac disease or some related intolerance. The only real downside is that with smaller sized loops, you end up with less servings in a box.

I like these much better than Froot Loops. Apparently my teenage sons do too because a box barely makes it through the day.

Great taste and texture, crunchy and fruity, and filling.

The first time I tasted these, I was a little creeped out by the strange flavor, but I tried them again a few days later and realized that the flavor is interesting rather than icky. Probably from the puréed pear listed in the ingredients. I actually bought them just to try them before they’re outlawed for containing food dyes. I normally avoid chemicals in food, but knowing that they won’t be available later made me binge on a few different ones while it’s still possible. I can taste the chemicals and the corn syrup in most of the foods we shouldn’t really be eating, so they’ll probably taste better later when they contain safer ingredients. Hopefully, my last hurrah won’t give me cancer. This flavor of Cheerios might make an interesting crust for cheesecake if you didn’t crush the pieces too much. The color blend would be interesting. They might also make interesting marshmallow “krispie” treats. I’m eating them dry as a crunchy snack, mostly for fun.

Taste is good! I feel it is healthy when compared to Froot Loops because of the natural dyes. Still has the different flavors.
