Make sure that you measure your kids prior to purchasing this. Once I did, I was able to fit him properly. He broke him Humerus bone right below the growth plate and can not move it. I love that this keeps his hand strapped to his chest. Soft and doesn't make him sweat. Recommendation for the maker. Better instructions for the around the side strap. Or make it an adjustable strap instead of one you have to cut and adjust with velcro.

Ordered the left arm sling for my 6 year old grandson who had fractured his clavicle. Hospital sent him home with a pretty decent arm sling but I wanted something that he could use that was a bit cooler in the hot Charleston SC spring/summer. I ordered the XS as there was no XXS left arm sling available and we are making it work for now. Yes, I did have to cut quite a bit of both the vertical strap as well as the strap that attaches behind the hand. And I agree with those who said the Velcro doesn’t stick well (at least to where it’s supposed to go)! I just use a large safety/diaper pin to secure the bottom strap to the hand area. Not sure it’s supposed to get wet, but we use this one for pool/beach because it is mesh and cooler than the regular nylon one. As an FYI: my grandson is 6 years old, 48” tall and weighs 52lbs. The XXS probably would have been perfect but it was needed now.

Urgent care sling was useless, this one kept my child’s arm in place and provided back and neck support by allowing the weight of the arm to be dispersed. Highly recommend!

This was the best fitting arm sling for my 8 year old. Breathable, light weight, very easy for her to take on and off without help. Loved the back strap for extra support and to help the arm not move out of the sling. She tried 3 different slings and this was the best. 100% would purchase again.
