I am so happy with this leash! It has lovely padded handles and feels very durable. I love that it has a lower handle, because I have a dog that sometimes gets overly excited and I would have to wrap the old leash around my hand to shorten his lead. Now I have a comfortable lower handle so my hand doesn’t get crushed if he pulls!My only disappointment comes from the bag dispenser. It is cheaply made compared to others I’ve purchased. Even the carabiner/clasp holding it to the leash feels like it could be broken easily. It doesn’t screw shut, it just snaps shut, which makes me worry a bit that it will fall off. Considering that the reason I bought this leash was because I needed a new bag dispenser (and figured, well I like the lower handle and our old leash is looking a little rough, so why not get the leash too) that’s a little disappointing.But overall it’s a good value for the price, since the leash is well made.Edit: seller fixed the issue I had with the bag holder. Very happy with their customer service.

I can’t begin to describe how much I like this dog leash. I purchased it for our new puppy - because despite her size I really dislike a flimsy leash in my hand, and those thin ones tend to be advertised for smaller dogs and puppies. This one looked thicker and sturdier which appealed to me. I couldn’t find my older dog’s dog’s leash the other night so I took her out on this one and it’s a heaven send! She’s got leash aggression which means I have to double up the leash each time to get her on a short leash whenever we encounter other dogs - even those across the street. With this leash I put one hand on the shorter handle and I’ve instantly got a short leash and better control. Genius! It’s also a nice material on the hand - soft - so even with a straining dog you don’t get sore hands. I’ve purchased a second one for the puppy. I highly recommend this leash and it’s a great price too.

I have a 14 week/9lbs Min Pin puppy that I'm training to walk, not pull which is hooked to a harness. Min Pins are notorious leash puller's. This is an Awesome leash with the lower handle is used get your dog under control and back to the "Heel" position. I love the "D" ring which I use to tie his potty bags. I wish I had this leash when I 1st started training @ 10 weeks old. The price is great considering the High Quality reflective stitching, the comfort handles and the leash is very sturdy, even for those puppies that insist on trying to eat the leash. This is NOT some cheap leash made in China. I've also used this on a 16 week old Boxer who is a strong puller, works like a charm to get him under control. I wish they made the same leash a little thinner (1/2" - 3/4") for small dogs. The 1st time using the leash was night and day. My pulling puppy turned into an obedient gentleman on his walks and the longer handle gives him his controlled "freedom". This is a MUST have for new dog owners.

There are a lot of positives to say about this leash and some cons as well. To start, for the price good bang for the buck. For what you pay for its a pretty good leash. The handles feel well secured in place as well as the clasp. Pulling on the handles and clasp reasonably gives a pretty solid construction feel overall and is soft and smooth to the touch. Silky soft quality padding in the handles that feel gentle in your hands. I do love the double padded handles. If you live in the city, you really need to keep your dog close to you at times at the lights so they do not get run over by cars. This leash does just that. Its an oh shoot bar for your dog. The reflective properties are amazing! I have never seen such a fantastic reflective pet product such as this. Thanks to 3M strips I am sold. Now the cons. It has some threads that are unraveling right out of the package. I do not even own a dog yet and worried this could unravel faster than expected Seems to be more at the handle padding than anything super important to the structure of the support of the entire leash. I think some of the threads could be fabric glued to hold it in place so it does not come apart so fast. The 3M strip is actually thin plastic material. Due to some of the stitching its been cracked and I could see a concern of it unraveling in the near future if the threading that supports the strips comes loose. So far it looks pretty stable. The clasp is a nice solid black color, but it was already sticking and I had to fight with it to open. Good news is that with a little silicone spray or WD40 this could be fixed in no time. I used silicone spray and it works like a charm now. No horrid catching, grinding, or stubborn sticking in place due to what I suspect is paint or rough burrs in the spring chamber of the Clasp. Now for my overall opinion. For what this leash is, I still feel is a great quality for the price. Granted its threads are unraveling in some areas for me, so I could of gotten an unlucky item, but based on what I am seeing now, I would expect this to probably last 6 months to a year based on heavy use. Hopefully longer. If I had a concern, I would worry about heavy pulling dogs over 60 pounds. Its reinforced sure, but still I have seen super heavy duty leashes on the market for massive pups that like to pull like carriage horses. Overall, its not bad and I do like it a lot. It looks to be a great walking leash and a excellent puppy training tool. I took some close ups on some trouble spots that could be a problem for me in the future as well as a photo of how nice that reflective strip is. I could see those strips saving a dogs life some night. Hopefully soon I can test this product out and update this review on a real dog.

Basic, high-quality leash!

My aussie german sometimes tugs while being walked and this leash makes me feel comfortable knowing that I can have a good grip on her. The second handle is a plus.

The leash is super sturdy with a very thick metal hook, it has reflectant material on both sides, so it works great when you walk your dog at night, the handles are soft and perfect for dogs who pull. It really was all I was looking for.Sadly, although it says that it's good for small, medium and big dogs, the smallest handle is very low, so if you have a small dog, like my little jack russel chihuahua rescue, then it's impossible to use both handles to train him to walk next to me. I'm not even tall, I'm 5,3'' and had to bend over to grab it.It's still a wonderful product and their customer service was great, they had a quick response and were able to help me in only a few hours. I would recommend this product 100%.

Easy to hold if you want to shorten the leash, good buy.
