Nice heavy head
Initial thoughts, as this just arrived in the mail. Nice heavy head. Blade is reasonably sharp. The spike is not sharpened, but the tip is definitely a good point. Paracord that was originally wrapped appears to be legit 550, but I replaced with the blue cord in the photo.I have not taken it apart yet, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say that it is not actually full tang. The weight doesn't seem right. I'm betting that the tang is only about half of the handle.Sheath seems to be well made. Belt loop on both sides. Snap straps on either side of the handle, and another button by the end of the pick. Axe comes out from the bottom, which makes for easier removal.Seems like there were some minor finishing details on the axe head with the coating, not gonna dock my rating on it. Its going to get abused.

Get'n ready for the end!
I haven't had to use this yet, but I've put it in my "apocalypse" bag. It looks like it'll cut down a small tree or take care of a zombie. But, really in the end when I post my final review, nobody will have access to the Internet and it won't matter because we'll all be looking for grubs or toads to eat. But hey, in the meantime, put it in your "apocalypse" bag too, maybe we'll meet up when the world is ending and we'll smash all the zombies together If you see me with a neon green ax, I'm not a zombie, I'm on your side!

detailing finish work needs more attention.
Just received the Hatchet. Feels good in the hands. light weight seems pretty durable. attention to detail could’ve been better. Paracord handle wrap wasn’t finished. cut ends weren’t finished. ends just have the frayed look. not very pleasing to the eye.

Needs a different handle.
The head is great, but the handle is kinda iffy. I rewrapped it with a different paracord with a twisted katana wrap. Eventually going to make a hickory handle for it. I just don't trust plastic handles. I'm going to hack some limbs with it and see how long it lasts. Not full tang.

Also the blade comes very sharp but becomes dull quickly with first day of use
The blade was a little loose when it came it and just the fastener that's holding it on needed to be tightened. No big deal but made it loose a star because that should have been quality checked. Also the blade comes very sharp but becomes dull quickly with first day of use.
