Excellent build quality, well laid out features, very comfortable to wear. Holds a decent amount, too. It's not too heavy, but it'll take all the stuff you need for a day out hiking. The pull tabs on the zips are easy to use (even with gloves). Now, I will grant that it's not as cheap as some lumbar packs out there, but the quality and design, not to mention the warranty, make this an easy choice. It's well worth the price.

This pack is very versatile! It has a ton of room for all of your essentials and then some. Itโs very comfortable to wear with plenty of padding, and you can add the shoulder strap if you that little bit of extra support. I use this as a day pack, 1-2 day travel bag, and a camera bag for doing photography shoots. I highly recommend this pack and am also considering purchasing the 9 liter as well.

Hands down THE BEST lumbar pack out there when combined with the suspended. This pack has everything in all the right places. The one upgrade I'll be making is to include a waterproof sack inside the main compartment to keep gear dry in extreme conditions.

I needed a pack to hold camera gear, water. Etc., things needed for a day hike. This seems well made with a thick material. It is comfortable on my waist but also has a good shoulder strap. It will actually hold my camera with 600m lens which surprised me. This makes it easy to get everything to the car. I have used it for a couple of short birding hikes and found I donโt notice it is there until I need something and it is easily at hand. All the various pockets make it easy to reach what you need. This is lightweight and gives me more than enough room for day hikes.

I really like this pack. Despite fellow customers saying my 14.1 inch mbp would fit, I was still a bit skeptical. It fits!!!! The only thing I think could be designed better is the attachment of the front flap, I think you attach it via the material eye hooks on the front of the bag, or you can attach the two sides of that front flap to the little area in the front, sorry, I can't describe it well. But it's hard as heck to get them in there, I feel that if it wasn't so hard to secure that flap in the front to the plastic part, it would be a more secure fit. The hook almost looks like something you'd attach to a d ring, like some packs have. The bag does have two eye hooks, which are made of material, the hooks on the front flap do attach to it, but it's not very secure, at least the front flap has a zipper, lol. Overall though, I think this will be a perfect laptop bag to wear on public transportation, as it can be worn in the front or back. I'm reluctantly taking off a star for the non-intuitive way to secure the front flap to the bag itself.
