Exactly what we needed for our whirlpool microwave purchased four years ago. We didn't even know this filter was there! It explained why my upper cupboards were all covered in dust and grease. So its pretty important . Glad we discovered it. PS These can be washed and used again. I soak mine in a plastic wash tub, fill with hot water, dawn dish soap and some tsp. Let it soak a couple hours, run it under hot running water to remove the loosened grease and dirt, then air dry.

I love that Amazon sells these filters. They fit perfectly in my microwave. The microwave was already installed when I moved into my home, so I didn't know it needed to have the filters replaced every six months until I looked up the owner's manual online. (I strongly suggest you do this with all your appliances.) Now I keep it up to date and enjoy the convenience of ordering this product from my house and they work great!

These look just like the OEM filters and are less expensive. Issue I had was not with the filters, but the Whirlpool microwave instructions to remove the plastic frame that the filters sit behind were sorely lacking, and almost worthless. i would give whirlpool 1 star; so be careful when replacing filters..

This filter does a great job of controlling odors with its placement in the top exhaust area of the microwave. It does require removing top part of trim to replace, but when you see how much it controls of residue in the exhaust, it is worth the effort to undo 2 screws to get to it.

Bought a house a couple years ago and am finding new things I need to buy for it. The latest was the filter on the over the-stove fan. I've never bought these before. The fit and finish of these filters looks very good and the price was reasonable. Getting two in the pack is a plus too. Would recommend and would buy it again.
