Bought this to repair an antique ornate panelled and carved leather foot pouffe from Morrocco. My boy dropped an entire bottle of yoghurt on it and in a panic a family member decided to soak it in water causing tide mark, warping and discolouration. It was a mess!After letting it dry off, I applied the leather food liberally and allowed it to dry. It is quite a watery cream and applied very easily into the carved leather areas.After drying, I used an old towel to clean off and buff the pouffe. This took quite a while as the cream does firm up when it dries and each panel took 30 minutes. I didn't think it was possible but it looks better than before. It isn't buff polished but has a nice healthy sheen. The leather feels more supple but isn't stretchy at all.There was some minute colour running when buffing onto the towel, but I suspect this is down to the antique tannery process used.I bought the small tub and it goes a long way. Very pleased!

Product arrived within estimated time. My sofa had been left untreated for a long time (years) so the was a lot to recover from. First application went on and straight away you can see from the pic how much better it looked (one treated cushion beside the treated one).A final pic of all cushions treated. They will need a few more applications but as I saybthey were dryer than a camels sock.

I wanted something to rejuvenate my leather belts and brown brogues (for which I have never been able to find the right shade of shoe polish).This stuff is ok, it hasn't discoloured my belts or shoes but I am not impressed with the end result.I will continue to use on my shoes until I use it up.Then I will try a different product.

I bought this product to traet the leather stacked handle on my K Bar USMC knife. The handle is made from hard compressed discs. Hide food has given the leather a beautiful feel and a fantastic looking dark lustre. The product will also go a long way and so is great value for money. Will buy again

I bought this product to remove scratches from a leather brief case that had been a present from my wife some years before. I was amazed at how effective the Hide Food was at reducing and very nearly removing the surface scratches and rejuvenating the leather.I have since used it to remove scratches from my work shoes and found that it worked really well to rejuvenate a pair of leather motor cycle gloves that had gone stiff with age and non-use for 20 years.Great product for bringing new life to treasured leather products.

My old leather boots didn’t absorb any of this stuff.. i applied this crap twice too.I ended up buying “Mink oil” much, much better.
