This is a hosting must have. It kept the foods the perfect temperature and clean up was a breeze. Easy storage also. Great for a gift idea as well. I ordered 4 more.

I gave this as a housewarming gift to my granddaughter n law for Thanksgiving and it was a miracle saver. This kept most of the food warm. The color matched the countertop and there was never a doubt about the safety. The cord surprised me as to the length. I was very impressed with the quality and how thick the pad was. My only concern was it made a shadow on the counter top, the temperature was medium so I donโt think it was too hot. Over all I am pretty impressed with the product. Would I buy it again yes and the round one too. I am a happy girl!

We made use of this warming mat on this Christmas eve. I used the two lower settings to keep food items warm, after they had been heated in a microwave. I did do some tests initially at the 122 degree F setting, and used a thermal camera to check operation. The temperature was very consistent across the surface, excluding the outer edge. On a setting of 122, it initially rose to 165 deg in the first 45 seconds of operation, and then very soon dropped down to 140-145 degrees where it stayed constant. I noticed that items placed on the mat would stay nicely warm, if they had a good contact area under them. So baking dishes, and other flat bottom items worked best. A gravy boat made only a thin circular ring of contact, and so didn't stay as warm as other items. After 2 hours of use at the 145 degree setting (regulates at 155), the surface of the quartz counter top underneath the mat was only slightly warm. The only item of concern I found was that the controls are easily touched, so you need to be careful to not inadvertently touch the panel during use, which would change the settings. I did not try the higher temperature settings, and I'm not sure why you would need them, after all this is a WARMING MAT, not a cook top. It did a very nice job on the 145 degree setting. Construction quality is good, so I expect it will last quite a while.

I bought 3 to use while hosting a football watch party. They do work well, but be warned. I had read that your countertops could get hot from these, so I placed heat resistant silicone mats (which I use regularly; they work very well with pans right out of the oven with little to no heat transfer). While cleaning up after the party, I was shocked at just how hot my marble countertops were despite (a) these warming pads being advertised as not causing heat transfer, and (b) just how hot they made my heat resistant mats and thus counters. Will I keep these? Yes. Will I be super careful about how I use them? Absolutely.
