I bought this as a gift, but then found out that someone else had too. It has a nice, soft light that has three variations of intensity. It's super easy to put together and has a good length of cord. It doesn't have any smell or any particular texture to it. The color is exactly as shown. The size is good. I didn't notice any real shift in the enrgy of the room I was in, but it clearly has some residual ion changing properties. It had a sturdy base and seemed to function easily. The switch for the light strength is in the cord and easy to use. It can be quite bright. I thought it would only be a dull light. It's heavier than I thought too. but all in all, it's great. Well worth the price.

Perfect nightlight for my kids - they love the look, adjustable light setting that is easy for my 6 and 7 year olds to do, it's heavy enough that they won't pick it up and move it around, and a great size. Aesthetically its great, gives a calming color/hue and initially utilized it in my own room. We've had ours for years with no problems with the light setting. It is a rock salt lamp so there is sometimes salt on the table it sits on if you move it around/touch it frequently but other than that we have one in almost every room!
