The media could not be loaded.  I’m writing this review based on what I received, not how well it works, or holds up. I’ll update if my review is wrong. I ordered a very inexpensive couche and lame’. It came with other things, which is fine. It arrived boxed very elegantly, but, I feel is over-packaged and environmentally wasteful. Each item feels substantial and durable.

Although the "baker's cloth" is listed as a couche, I doubt seriously that is is made of heavy duty linen as a true couche always is. Despite rubbing flour into it (as one always does with a couche) my dough glued to it so badly that my bread batch was ruined. After washing all the dough out, it has also lost all stiffness, so is basically usless for its stated purpose. I will give the seller credit for never saying anywhere that this a stiff linen--so they were truthful in that regard.

I love eating and making bread, and this combo provides all necessary tools to make bread on my own. This a great addition to my kitchen. Item is well described and pictured. A great pastry set that I would recommend to anyone who likes to bake.

Thank you for the extra storage bag! It was a nice surprise! And the boxis…AMAZING! Perfect gift box! The only minus would be that theproofing cloth is full of creases because of the storage but I canunderstand that.

I have only used the dough cutter and the scraper. They both have made my life easier. The quality is great.
