Needs expansion time
This is a supportive, comfortable pillow. It does need about 36 hours to fully expand (at least, mine did). I thought it was done after 24 hours but didn't sleep on it yet, just to see. It expanded even more overnight. It supports the head and neck well. Doesn't seem like it'll have the valleys that most pillows develop over time. Overall, a solid pillow.

Plush enough for comfort, firm enough to support my big head
Note: While I did receive an evaluation unit, I only accepted it after I let the company know that I would only leave an honest, non-sugar-coated review. Background information:I am a fairly large male (over 6ft tall, large frame, and unfortunately, also overweight) and a side sleeper. I was in an automobile accident around 20 years ago in which I went upward and hit the top of my head on the inside top of the car, injuring my neck. Since then I have had problems with my neck which are often aggravated during sleep by struggling to find the right position, the correct number of pillows stacked, and pillows with the right softness/support. I have often awoke in the morning with a painful/stiff neck. Another on-going challenge has been that pillows tend to go flat over time; so even when I find the right combination, it is often a temporary solution.Review:When the pillow arrived, it was in a fairly flat box about the length and width of a pillow. I took it out of the box and was not so sure about it. The pillow had been sealed in plastic and the air sucked out. I cut the plastic open and the pillow slowly took shape. Once fully restored in size, the pillow is fairly thick and seems to be made of good quality materials.I was pretty skeptical that this pillow was going to work for me. I have now used the pillow for three nights. My first impression was that the pillow was soft enough to allow my head to sink part way into it but had enough support that my head did not "bottom out." (My shoulders are wide enough that I have been placing this pillow on top of another, flatter pillow to get the height right.) A challenge for any pillow is that it needs to be firm enough to provide adequate support and yet be soft enough that my heavy head pressing my ear into it does not cause my ears to hurt from the pressure. This balance is a fine line and not easy to achieve. So far this pillow has been successful at achieving this balance.Another thing that has historically aggravated my neck problems when sleeping is a tendency to crane my neck forward and down. This usually ends up with me having one pillow on the bottom and another pillow running parallel to my body with my head pushed forward. With this pillow, I have been leaving it at the head of the bed, parallel to the headboard. So far this position/pillow has worked well and I have not been craning my neck forward. The description of the pillow in the Amazon listing indicates it has coiled springs in it and I was concerned that they might by too noticeable but so far so good. Conclusion:I know that when it comes to pillows I am an extremely picky consumer due to my size and past neck injury. While in the back of my mind I had a little hope that this pillow would be a great find, I really did not hold out much hope that it would actually work for me. So far I have been very pleasantly surprised. I have slept well. I am maintaining a better sleep posture/position. I do not wake up during the night with my ears hurting from too much firmness.I am curious to see whether this pillow will be able to continue to provide the right amount of softness/support/firmness as time passes. I hope that the materials do not start wearing out and compressing too much. Time will tell. But for now, I am sleeping well.

Super Comfortable Coil Spring Pillow. LOVE IT!!
I am a side sleeper. Well, for months I was waking up with a sore neck and shoulder. I was using a latex pillow and memory foam one on top of it which I like but it didnt like me! I took the memory foam pillow off and used the OXA in its place. The memory foam was the chopped up stuffing kind. It flattens hard and gets hot.I found the OXA Spring Contour Pillow and read it has coils. I was hesitant because how comfortable could a coil pillow be? For 35 bucks I ordered it and it came in 2 days. It arrived vacuum sealed in a cute reusable bag with handles. I cut it open and it immediately inflated. I shook it and let it sit for about 15 minutes. My first reaction was not so optimistic on it helping me because it is super soft. It was springy though. First night using it I put it on top of my latex pillow & was amazed that I woke with no neck ache. I slept so much better. It has been 3 nights and I love this pillow. You dont feel the springs at all! I like that it keeps it shape as you move your head around. Oh it is also great with regulating temperature! I guess because it has the coils it allows air to flow? I just know that I am SO HAPPY with this purchase. I am going to order another one after Christmas to have for traveling.

Felt just like any other pillow
It felt like the other regular pillows that we have already. I didn't feel any support. This wasn't enough alone to be comfortable. I gave it a few days and it still felt the same.

Firm pillow great for neck and head support-Does what it says!
This pillow came in a plastic zip-up bag. Then inside the bag, it was sealed in another air-tight plastic bag to ensure cleanliness and keep the shape. Once removed from the plastic, the pillow was incredibly soft to the touch. Even though it was soft, the pillow was still firm. I have read other reviews that have stated that the pillow was super thin. My pillow was not thin.First I put it behind my back to give me back support while sitting. It works very well and my back felt better immediately. Later that night, I used it to go to bed. It was a lot more firm than I originally thought. It definitely held its shape all night long, and it gave my head and neck major support. Just for reference, I am a back and side sleeper. This pillow worked great! If you like firm pillows, this is the pillow for you.

A comfortable pillow, pain free sleep
The packaging is unique and this pillow comes vacuum packed with a nice travel bag. We took it out of the packaging to let it sit overnight to air out and get rid of a powdery smell. Once it aired out, it was ready to use. I am a stomach sleeper with some arthritis in my neck. To my surprise, I am able to sleep comfortably on my back and my sides with this pillow. In just a few days of using, I have slept better and my neck is not stiff like it typically is in the morning. The pillow cradles my head nicely and there is no strain on my neck and shoulders as they now rest at a comfortable height. I highly recommend this pillow over the memory foam ones I've tried. I plan to travel with it as well.

Goes flat and you feel the springs inside if you move around
I really wanted to like this pillow but after using it one night myself and my girlfriend the next, neither of us liked it and both of us had sore necks the next day. Once you put your head down on it it goes completely flat and if you move your head around you can feel the metal springs inside of it. Definitely don't recommend this pillow. Some of the other reviews said it was really firm and I like firmer pillows but mine definitely wasn't, even after waiting for it to inflate. I don't like giving things 1 star because it seems like that kind of rating lacks nuance but the only real positive I found from this pillow was that it looks like it's quality but unfortunately it's not.
