UPDATE: January 26,2026. So my mother purchased a container for me from Amazon in December for Christmas gift, she was advised it would arrive January 8th (fine) but still today have not received it and she was told 2 additional times the arrival date was changed 1st to the 18th and now the 28th. Even though these are still my favorite Id suggest maybe going to Caraway web-site and ordering straight from them (same exact prices) as this constant delay is annoying. If it doesnt arrive on the 28th as now promised I told my mother to cancel the order as over a month to receive an order Is UNACCEPTABLE! I absolutly love my Caraway airtight containers! I had previously bought their container set and found I needed another one for more flour storage so I bought this single one. It arrived perfectly packaged (as is Caraways norm) so it arrived intact with zero damage. The lids locking mechanism is magnetic so its easy to remove to give the lid a thorough cleaning and then clicks right back in place easily! The glass itself is a good thickness and not heavey at all but with this in mind you still need to be gentle handling it because it is glass and if you bang it on counter top or drop it in sink it could probably break! The lid secures nicely and appears airtight and is easy enough to remove. I know the containers seem pricey, I think they are worth the price because they are well made, work as advertised and look real nice on my counter top. The size I bought fits a 5 Lb bag of flour. Also Caraway has sales throughout the year so look for those (Yes they are on sale on amazon during these store sales) so put it in your cart and buy when they show the price drop if the regular price is a tad too high..I highly recommend these containers for food & flour storage!!

Caraway products are top notch. I own all bakeware, I love to bake. I also have a skillet 10.5 inch for over 1 year. I use it everyday, and still looks like new, the utensils do help. I am always recommending to friends and family. Your health is your wealth. Once you start getting one piece, the performance will have you wanting more. It is worth it.

It is a beautiful canister. As I change from plastic to glass, this is a perfect addition.

These are really nice containers but I have to leave a review to register them for the warranty which is kinda cringe, so I deducted a star for that. I’ve resisted these for a year or more because of the price but they are really nice and considering the plastic alternatives are half the price I think these will be worth the investment. For some reason, the colors feel off. I originally ordered the terracotta color which ended up browner/redder and less pink than expected. I replaced with the mist and the saturation is weird. Kinda wish I had kept the terracotta. But this is just nitpicking really. They’re great. I do wish they offered a larger size around 6 qt for bulk sugar/flour purchases. I don’t know how well the lids will last but they seem solid and the glass seems substantial but not overly so. Can’t not recommend if you want to avoid plastic.
