It effortlessly leans against the wall, but the built-in stand is a great option if you prefer not to lean it. The black frame adds a sleek, modern touch. I have ordered 3 of these mirrors. Only 1 out of the 3 were nice. The other 2 had marks and scratches on the mirrors. Very disappointed in the quality of these. Very noticeable to the eye when hung.
