Works good.
When turned on in tune mode goes silent like its supposed to do.So far so good. For the price just buy it. It is made of plastic so there is that.Compared to a few other tuners i have it is accurate to them. The same.

Excellent tuner pedal
I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the quality of this pedal. It’s sized right for my pedalboard, and works well with my power supply. The design has bright colors that are easy to see from the stage. I cannot speak to sound quality or volume control as I have this pedal coming out of yThe “tuner pedal” output on my volume pedal, so it’s not in the signal train.

Good price for a great tuner pedal
It has a large, bright display. The tuner tracks very well and I appreciate having both outputs. I only gave it 4 stars because the contacts for the power input are set back inside the unit a bit further than normal and wouldn't work with the bent (90 degree) side of the power supply cable. I had to use the straight side of the power supply cable which works fine but maybe looks a little funny because it sticks straight out

Monoprice vs Boss
The media could not be loaded. I made a video comparing the Monoprice Tuner to the Boss TU. They are approximately equal in all categories with the exception of Boss has a long standings well-known reputation while Monoprice is newer and lesser known. The Boss TU is not worth the extra money compared to the Monoprice.

The Best tuner for the price!!!
I bought a cheap tuner on here to get my pedalboard going, but it was slow, like painfully slow. This unit has a large, bright display that's easy to see in any light. It's very easy to use and it's super fast and very responsive. It doesn't hesitate when transitioning from string to string like many tuners do. The dual output is nice as well as an actual battery (Included!!!) for use on the bench without a power cord. I can't recommend this enough. I even bought my friend one for Christmas.

Is this a joke?
I bought one. didn't work. i called the recommended "Customer Service" I don't think they work for Monoprice, the guy didn't understand a lot of what I was asking. I said it doesn't turn on. I put in the battery... press button once, nothing. I thought maybe it's a bad battery. So I opened a brand new Duracel... Same thing. Maybe it needs a guitar plugged in... Didn't work. Maybe it needs the amp too... nope. "Customer Service says; "Have you tried using a 9v transformer?" It didn't come with a 110/9v converter. So they get the supervisor (Ben) who says;" I'm a musician and I have a few 9v converters." (Maybe he was suggesting he would give me one of his?) I said It's supposed to work on the 9v battery... that's the way i want to use it. Finally i gave up and took the Amazon refund. They suggested "We will send you another one and you return the defective one within a month" I accepted that offer and returned BOTH in one day. The second one, the replacement didn't turn on either. Except when you plugged in a guitar or the amp I got a flash of two red lights on either side. Then nothing. I also noticed the plastic screen protector wasn't on the second one. My guess; "B Stock" someone returned it broken and they just sent it out again.I notice "Monoprice" sells a complete line of cheap guitars, amps, pedals and accessories. There's a name to remember!

Perfect guitar tuner
I just bought this. I’ve gone through four tuners to get my guitar to tune correctly. This by far is the most accurate one on the market… I love it. It’s perfect and it takes a battery.

Bright, easy to read and very accurate! Buy this one!
Pros:1. Very easy to read, large display.2. Very bright, but not blindingly bright.3. Perfect size. It won’t take up a lot of room, but also won’t tip over, when operating the foot switch.4. Very accurate. I checked it against a signal generator, calibrated to NIST standards. It was spot-on.5. It has rubber feet, to keep it from sliding around, if not used on a pedalboard.6. Operates from a 9V battery, or 9V power adapter.7. The entire enclosure is cast aluminum. (Except for battery cover and display, of course.)8. The display ‘locks on’ very fast, and ‘holds’ very well.9. It has three “flat tuning” settings, allowing you to tune down to ‘drop Db’.10. It has “true bypass” circuit design.Cons:1. If you want to place it flat against a pedalboard, using Velcro, you will have to remove three stick-on feet and the battery cover. You can also make a spacer, if you don’t want to remove the feet. (I used my laser cutter, to make a spacer.)2. The ‘concert pitch’ can only be adjusted from 436Hz to 445Hz. If you’re trying to align your cosmic chakras (432Hz), this isn’t your pedal and you probably should have paid attention in science class.I needed three, but I only bought one, due to mixed reviews on YouTube. One review said that the accuracy was “questionable”. Luckily, that isn’t the case. (See above.) I’ve had a few days to use it and I’m VERY happy with it. Now that I know that it’s accurate, easy to read and a pleasure to use, I will be ordering the other two, right away. You can buy tuners that are more expensive, but most of them will be hard to read, have ‘busy’ displays, and consume a lot of power. If you need ‘strobe tuner’ accuracy, buy a strobe tuner and keep it on your workbench. If you need a quick, accurate way to tune up between songs, this is the tuner you want. Can’t beat the price, either. I’ve been playing guitar for 38 years. I’ve owned many tuners and this one is among the best. I highly recommend this tuner! Rock on!!!
