does this bag work for the Jetboil Zip

The bag is huge, More than enough space for the jetboil zip if that is what you want to put in there. Was it intended for this purpose, no. the jetboil is 4.1 x 6.5 inches, the bag is 8.5" x 10.75" (inside diameter).

How many different size storage bags are there? There seems to be 3 bag sizes, one for the halfhen, two for the genesis

There is a bag specifically for the HalfGen. There are also two bags for the Genesis...one for the stove ONLY...the other is larger to fit the entire system with Frypan and 5L Cookpot.

Will this fit the 8" cook pan and jetboil flash?

Yes..those item will fit easily in this bag.

How well does this fit the Jetboil Minimo?

The storage bag is for the Genesis which measures 9.8x4.6 inches. The Minimo is 5x6 inches.

I took the bottom packaging foam that was in the shipping box for the stove and cut it into an octagon shape with a serrated knife. It fits great. The bag has a top pocket where I was able to store the power cord and pan handle. The material of the bag is very good quality and the double carry handles feel sturdy as well.

I needed this larger size to fit my upgraded Pot, Pan, and Genesis Stove.

I bought the Genesis without the pot and pan, as I hate non stick and plastic lids, and prefer a titanium pot/lid, and carbon steel pan. Problem is, the Genesis stove (solo) comes with a smaller bag. This larger bag (for the set) fits my upgraded pot, pan and the Genesis Stove. I’m happy. Close to the same price (as the Basecamp set) after I parted everything out, separately.
