I have only tried 2 flavors so far. Overall, I can see the appeal of these. They taste decent, though the two flavors I had (blueberry and birthday cake) weren't very differentiable. They feel filling, and reading the ingredients, I am a bit wary of the sorghum flour, though I can say I have not had any GI issues from eating them which is what is most important to me. I am also bothered by the price, which I understand is partially that way due to the research and testing that probably had to go into making something decent but also filling and sweet that met all the limitations it caters to. However, I'd prefer it still be a bit cheaper with lower cost packaging. All in all, I'd say, this is a great on-the-go option for people who have a lot of restrictions, though definitely not something you can be consuming everyday if you're on a budget. Flavor wise, i want to taste all the flavors from the box before having a final verdict but so far I'd say it's fine, not great but not bad either. Definitely great for the exchange of peace of mind.

As a busy, vegan microbiology PhD with a sensitive stomach I was excited to try these probiotic, IBS-friendly bars, plant-based bars. Given these bars had some mixed reviews, I was a bit nervous if they would be as good as advertised. The bars did not disappoint! They were a good size, dense, and perfectly sweet (enough for a pick-me-up but not enough to be excessive. My favorite by far is the Birthday cake :) (to me, it was just like confetti cake in a bar). Blueberry muffin was also amazing. The lemon was my least favorite (I liked all of them, but the lemon had too much tartness to me and I wish it was not included in the variety pack because the others were far better). I liked how the white chocolate chips melted in the mouth but weren't messy to eat (I've had bars/cookies before where the chips melt on touch, which is inconvienent) Overall, these were a super solid snack: convient, healthy, plant-based and indulgent-tasting-exactly what I was looking for!

Through the years I have had my diet become more and more restricted. I started with a diagnosis years ago of Crohn's, which later was amended to IBS, with gluten and dairy sensitivities. Then was found to be very fructose intolerant, so was directed to also go on a low fodmap diet. In the meantime, I had a colostomy, so I have to avoid a number of foods that can either cause blockages, things being to thick or not thick enough, excessive gas and bloating, etc. Anyway, between all that, my diet has become very limited without many "treats." I was excited when I discovered these bars and found several flavors very tasty. However, I have found that the product, while at it's best is quite good, is very inconsistent. Amazingly, in the same box, I find some of the bars that are a bit thicker, lighter and more moist with an airy texture, along with ones that are much flatter, thicker and much more dense, plus ones that are extremely dry, crumble easy (making them hard to even eat) and edible only when dipped in a hot brew or something. Like I said, these aren't separate boxes, but in the same box! And this is on numerous occasions. I'm willing to pay the high prices of these "specialty" items if they are a quality product, but feel I am going to stop purchasing the Belli Welli bars due to this inconsistency. I have ordered about 10-12 boxes to date, I'm guessing, actually maybe more. But, it has been a consistent theme of inconsistency and hasn't improved. A shame, but I'm back looking for other bars I can fit into my diet. Bummer.

As a person living with IBS, I have to be very careful what foods I eat. That little sweet something is hard to find in a Low FODMAP food. Often they are too sweet for my liking. Theses BelliWelli are low FODMAP, gluten free, just perfect snacks. I have been buying the Taster box for quite some time. I like it because I can choose a flavor based on what mood I am in that day. Some days I like the Birthday Cake, some the Lemon White Chocolate, others the Blueberry Muffin or Cinnamon Swirl. I recently purchased the Strawberry Shortcake, YUM! In this order, I purchased the Fudge Brownie and a Taster box. It is the first time I have had the Fudge Brownie, super delicious. Definitely has a good brownie consistency and flavor. I can see why the Fudge Brownie are a favorite of many. So if you want a good Low FODMAP, GLUTEN FREE product that won't make your tummy hurt, BelliWelli should be your go to snack. Yes, they are a bit pricey; but hey, aren't you worth it! Now, as far as Amazon shipping these. BelliWelli ships directly in a box. Amazon put the two boxes I ordered in a brown packaging envelope. As you can see the product did not get here in very good shape. Amazon usually ships via the USPS and if you live in the country like me, the postal carriers jam what they can in the mailbox so they do not have to come up to your house. Fortunately, the individual product containers were not damaged but still, Amazon you can do better on shipping this product.

Would I buy this again? Yes. Will I reccommend it to friends? Yes. Will I eat it every day? No. Is it the best thing I ever had? No. Did it bother my IBS and GI issues? No. Did I like all of the flavors in this box? No. Flavor: I'm a somewhat picky eater and I liked about half of the flavors in this box. In the winter I lose my sense of taste, hence the pickiness, but these were still pretty good even in winter for me. They were kind of dry, which was a bummer, I think these would be most fantastic when moist. I put a few in the fridge and enjoyed that as well - if you're someone who likes chilled or frozen candy bars, give that a shot. I haven't tried it, but microwaving the bars might also improve the texture. IBS: These did not cause a flare. I did get more stomach rumbling than I expected, but nothing happened otherwise. That's already a 100% improvement on traditional nutrition bars. They seemed to digest "as normal" for me. Value: Not gonna lie, these are expensive for me. Not unusual for a nutrition bar though. I'm going to stick to using these as an on-the-go and emergency snack. I think they'll be great for events and places where I can't predict how the food will affect me. I wanted to eat these every day for breakfast, but the dry texture and the expense don't make that worth it for me. Packaging: I wish the brownie bars were offered in this box too because those sounded the most like I would like them. I suppose they make more money selling the brownie only in a separate box. The box is a store display box which is somewhat funny, but works fine to hold the bars in my pantry. The bars are wrapped in stiff mylar plastic, so they survived the changes in temperature and getting crushed in my day bag well. The paper box is recyclable in most areas, the bar plastic wrapper is not. โป๏ธ Story: Nutrition bars (most any food bar) are all off the table for me because the additives for the nutrition and preservation all trigger my IBS like crazy, so I was very intrigued to see these. Food bars would help me get nutrition quick when I lose it so frequently due to the GI issues, but I can't have any. This was worth a try for me. They shipped quickly and intact. The box works as a dispenser for the bars in my pantry, since it's a store display box. I tried some for breakfast for a few days with no IBS flares, although some audible belly gas, especially at first. No gas passed, however, and no gas pain, two of my frequent flare issues. So that was a good experience. I liked half of the bar flavors enough to want to eat them regularly and found the texture to be lacking - kind of dry, which is a bummer for breakfast, when I wake up with a dry mouth and throat already. I tried freezing/chilling a few which made the texture less bothersome and will try microwaving next. They are somewhat moist, to be clear, just definitely not the moistness of a fresh muffin or anything. What I like most is their convenience. Nutrition on the go without irritating my body, which isn't something I previously had. These won't be daily for me, just busy days or during unusual schedules. I think they'll also be lifesavers during events involving food that I don't know will bother me. 4 out of 5 stars, one star off for liking half the flavors, lack of brownie in this variety pack, and expense. I'll buy them again!
