After reading the negative reviews, I thought: this stuff will probably be like something that was scraped off the floor of a warehouse, and put into a bottle.I found the product to be very mild and mellow tasting, smooth, if you will; not bitter at all. In fact, this was the mildest tasting cinnamon I've ever tasted.The smell was not strong at all. I would describe it as having a mild smell, not light, not strong either.When I first got it, I started using it on my healthier cereal. I would put a ton in it. Even with that, it never overpowered anything, or tasted bitter, or tasted bad in any way. With as much as I put in it, that was impressive to me. Later, I would put it into smoothies, and other drinks. Again, never tasted bitter, never did anything but add a hint of cinnamon flavor. I will say: this stuff is pretty mild; so, I found myself having to use alot of it, to get that cinnamon flavor.UPS delivered this cinnamon to me, not FED EX. It arrived true to its estimation by Amazon. It was packaged well, and there was no incursion into the packaging, by Customs, or others. It showed up intact, and unmolested by anyone......to my surprise.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. This product turned out to be quite abit better than I was lead to believe (fake negative reviews). I thought: it tasted quite good, and had no bitter or bad taste to it at anytime, with any food.

I love this cinnamon, I use this daily in my coffee and hot cereal. Also wasn't expecting it for a couple weeks and it arrived in three days.

I have both the powder and the sticks. I purchased the powder first and after using it I decided to buy the cinnamon sticks, I use it every day either in a tea alone or in my Nutr Bullet. The benefits are noticeable, increased energy, and a feeling or well-being. Lower my blood pressure is why I have added this Organic Ceylon Cinnamon to my diet. I have notice a significant difference in my bp reading since adding this product to my diet. I use it daily along with organic Matcha green tea and Organic turmeric root or powder.When used alone, the tea is mild and relaxing. Usually, I drink without any additives, but at times, I have added a teaspoon of raw honey or a small amount of rock sugar for a tiny bit of sweetness. Either, way it is great tea and I will continue to buy this particular brand. FYI, before buying this product, I did my research and made inquires regarding organic cinnamon and its benefits. I am pleased with this particular brand.

This is a high quality, cinnamon unlike the average retail outlet products. A good cholesterol fighter. I just mix in a half teaspoon or so in my morning coffee.

If you don't know what real cinnamon tastes like, think of the smell of cinnamon candles or Big Red gum, very different from what you'll find on the shelves of most stores.This is the real stuff, not the more commonly found Saigon cinnamon you might be more accustomed to. Importing Ceylon cinnamon can be a bit of a pain here in the States, this is probably one of the most convenient ways to do it, and easily the fastest. Dru Era got it to me in three days, significantly faster than Amazon itself or most domestic sellers manage, quite the feat considering how far it had travel to get here.As it's not really clear from the pictures, the container it comes in is approximately the size of two soda cans stacked on top one another, enough to last most anyone several months if not a year.

Flavor - Ha! Used in a recipe that called for two tablespoons of cinnamon - used seven and still did not taste like cinnamon was added. There is also virtually no smell of cinnamon directly from the jar when opened. Appearance is the only thing consistent with cinnamon. Total waste of $35.00!

Having previously bought Ceylon Cinnamon from other sellers, I can honestly say that they pale in comparison to this one which I believe to be 100% authentic. This cinnamon is very aromatic, sweet and warming. It is not at all gritty or bitter and the colour is paler than others I have bought. I am now sprinkling a bigger teaspoon of cinnamon on my porridge than before - it is that good and delicious. Unfortunately the container lid arrived partly broken on delivery, probably due to transit, but thankfully none of the cinnamon had spilt out, so perhaps the seller could consider more secure packaging for overseas shipments. Other than that delivery was very prompt and I would definitely recommend and purchase Ceylon Cinnamon powder from Dru Era again.

Phenomenonly fast shipping! Great cinnamon for my purpose. Ceylon cinnamon is the only safe one to use in large amounts for medicinal purposes as it does not harm the liver. I use a heaping spoon in coffee (grounds) every morning as it is supposed to help lower diabetic blood sugar. I cannot say for certain if it has helped lower blood glucose, but it tastes great in coffee anyway. Tastes like nutmeg, I would not use this for cinnamon buns for example as it does not have a traditional flavour. I am glad I found this company, I will definitely be back. It is a wonderfully, unique cinnamon though and would taste great in exotic dishes as well I'd imagine. I will order from here again as long as they keep prices and shipping reasonable. Have enjoyed a teaspoon of Ceylon Cinnamon with my porridge and honey at breakfast for a good while now. Decided to try this more expensive Dru Era variety and can confirm the very positive reviews that others have posted. It has a most refined texture and an exquisite aroma and taste. It certainly exudes quality and the Dru Era service is impressively speedy. It will take some time to get through the 1lb jar, but I am definitely minded to re-order when the time comes. Comparatively expensive, but recommended.

This cinnamon makes all the other cinnamon I've been buying over the years to be relegated to cinnamon very DISTANT relative. This product is simply AMAZING. I did not have the heart to even finish the cinnamon I was using. I simply put it in the bin and immediately started using REAL CINNAMON.
