Great bed but difficult to assemble as curved corners impede use of tools

I initially gave it 4 stars. Now I am.giving it 1 after it being used for a bit. I dint believe it is worth the price. My not even 35 pound toddler jumped in it a d it sounded like the boards are going to Crack! We have a 5inch mattress on it because anything higher would leave no backing space. The bed came in a million pieces. I was under the impression it would be 3 pieces. There are not markings on where to place the boards for the slats so spacing has potential to be uneven. In theory, this bed is great. Its just cheaply made and definitely not the weight limit as described. Im not able to lay on it without fear of breaking it. It seems like it'll be find short term. But for almost $300 id expects something of better quality than this.

We spent hours assembling this toddler bed, only for the main support beam to snap the second our toddler climbed in. Our toddler weighs 28 lbs, the mattress 36 lbs, and this bed is supposedly rated to hold 350 lbs, yet it couldn’t handle a toddler and a mattress for five minutes! Now we see why Nestig’s version costs so much! This bed is just cheap junk. You can see the knot in the wood where it snapped, and that beam feels noticeably lower quality than the rest of the bed. To make things even worse, Amazon refuses to provide a replacement part or a full refund. The only option is to fully disassemble it and put it back in the original packaging, which is nearly impossible after hours of assembly. It would take way too long to take it all apart again, and at this point, it’s just not worth the hassle. Meanwhile, our toddler has no bed for the night because we already removed his crib. Without the support beam, the bed is completely unusable. Absolute waste of time and money. Do not buy!

Love this bed. It’s safe for our little one to crawl up and down on yet gives him independence. He seems to really enjoy going to his room and his big boy bed.
