NAD C326 BEE Integrated Amplifier

Bought to replace a Rotel pre amp and NAD 2100 power envelope which had gone iffy in the right channel. Although the Rotel was ok, i needed the extra space provided by having an integrated amp. It has a load of inputs as well! The only downside is there is only one tape loop, which is not helpful when you have a CDr, and Minidisc, the solution is to use one of them as a DAC Sonically it is very pleasing to the ear, great depth, and sparkle. High notes are more crisp than with the old 2100, and with soft clipping turned off, and tone defeat switched in, the true magic shines through. Time and again little details where appearing in tracks I have had for years. well recommended. I will however, state that, this amp was sent using HDNL/Yodel so as you can imagine, it never arrived next day as paid for, the driver said he had put a card through the door, but was lying as Yodel drivers all ways do when they can't be bothered!! This is the reason I now buy all hifi bits from a proper shop.

What a great amplifier. As usual, the sort of quality that you'd expect from NAD. Plenty of inputs, 2 Sub outputs, proper Hi-Fi sound quality and for 50w/channel, this unit sure delivers one hell of a punch.

Decided to upgrade my system and a friend reccomended NAD. Does the job nicely, they certainly give a punchy, yet clear output. I now have the "hifi bug" and wish I had spent that bit more and went for a Yamaha as I plan on upgrading my speakers. If you can afford the extra pennies go for a Yamaha, but if not this is the amp to get. Update - upgraded my speakers to some B&W685s and the NAD does them justice. Fantastic sound that fills the room. Time for a cd player....

I had heard many stories of poor build quality and units which died shortly after purchase. I went ahead and purchased anyway, hoping I wouldn't be one of the unlucky ones. Unfortunately, I was. The unit switched to 'protection mode' immediately on power up. Shame, as I would have purchased the matching CD player too. Didn't get chance to hear the sound quality. The remote is shiny plastic, which isn't in keeping with the unit.

Packed with lots of power. Easily drives monitor audio bronze 6 floor standers. Plays good on mid range and high frequencies, however lacks mid-bass punch. Partnered with Bluesound node 2 to stream high res audio.

Ho un finale 2200, che si è guastato da poco. Questo integrato lo sostituisce molto bene, a parte la potenza, ma questa era una considerazione iniziale fatta velocemente. Andando avanti nell'ascolto noto che il suono è molto pulito, e quasi mai affaticante, anzi c'è molto piacere di ascolto. La differenza la noto sui bassi: i subwoofer che ho non sembrano adeguatamente pilotati, appaiono in secondo piano, ma a volte quando ci sono le note basse nelle incisioni escono fuori, quindi non penso che il problema sia la potenza, anche se è la metà del vecchio 2200. Piuttosto può essere che il 2200 fosse meno controllato, e allora facesse uscire più bassi del dovuto, o magari i miei sub sono un carico molto impegnativo. Farò delle ulteriori prove con i crossover per vedere. Ci sta, sono progetti molto lontani fra loro. Il C326BEE è un bel jolly, che fa uscire bene qualunque genere musicale con i diffusori che ho, con in più la bella sorpresa di una ricostruzione della scena sonora molto realistica e piacevole. Ottimo il telecomando, la struttura del cabinet e i comandi sono solidi e affidabili, così come gli ottimi morsetti per i diffusori, anni luce meglio di quelli del 2200. L'integrato è completissimo nella dotazione, con in più l'ottima separazione pre-finale che mi permetterà eventuali upgrading futuri, magari con un ampli dedicato ai subwoofer. L'ingresso phono non mi manca avendo un modulo autonomo, anzi mi piace moltissimo l'ingresso dedicato per i lettori mp3, comodo e a inserimento automatico. Per concludere vale tutto il suo prezzo, sono molto soddisfatto di averlo acquistato "al buio", ma il suono NAD lo conoscevo bene e infatti non mi ha deluso. Ottima marca che conferma la sua qualità e i miglioramenti nel tempo.. AGGIORNAMENTO 2017: ho sostituito i cavi che avevo con cavo intrecciato CAT6 (vedi www.tnt-audio.com), ed è cambiato tutto! Adesso i bassi escono belli corposi, la potenza a disposizione è aumentata e di parecchio, alcune asprezze che si potevano sentire ogni tanto in certi cd sono scomparse, lasciando una trasparenza e una cristallinità di suono da non credere... E dire che sono sempre stato scettico sul suono dei cavi, stavolta mi devo proprio ricredere, sembra di aver cambiato (in meglio) amplificatore... Ancora una volta appare l'evidenza che il suono di un componente, critico come un amplificatore, dipende molto dal carico che gli viene affidato, e le mie casse sono sempre state un carico impegnativo, per cui se hai dei cavi che gli facilitano il lavoro...béh, la differenza si sente eccome! Chissà come avrebbe suonato il mio vecchio NAD 2200 con questi cavi! Se qualcuno ha voglia di cimentarsi consiglio vivamente di farsi un bel paio di cavi seguendo le indicazioni del sito tnt-audio, che si conferma un must per gli appassionati.

Pour le prix cet amplificateur a de la puissance, des graves superbes, des médium et des aigus magnifiques. Je suis un habitué de la marque, une fois de plus je suis très heureux de mon achat.

Moin zusammen, ich bin auf NAD Anfang der Neunziger gestoßen, da war NAD noch ein Pionier in Sachen analoger Verstärkertechnik. Preislich erschwinglich und ein super natürlicher Klang, ohne dass man Bass, Höhen, Loudness oder andere tonverfälschende Dinge „zufügen“ musste. Digital ist heute Standard und auch dem analogen Bruder überlegen, auch bei NAD. Nur leider entwickelt NAD diese Technik nicht selbst, sondern kauft sie zu und somit ist die einstige Sonderstellung leider verloren gegangen. Hier wird nun Marketing statt Qualität in den Vordergrund gestellt. Schade. Nun aber zu dem Verstärker 326BEE. Klasse analoger Verstärker der, bis auf Klassik, mit jeder Musikrichtung klarkommt und diese auch detailreich und räumlich darstellt. Voraussetzung ist immer wer zuspielt und was zugespielt wird. Schlechte Zuspieler und Medien klingen dann auch schlecht. Ich bin voll und ganz mit dem letzten seiner Art zufrieden. Analoge Verstärker werden warm, das ist nun mal der Technik geschuldet. Dauerbetrieb bei hoher Lautstärke erzeugt auch viel Abwärme. Ich kann bei meinem Gerät keine übermäßige Wärmeentwicklung feststellen. Wenn es dann mal ein digitaler Verstärker wird, muss ich mich wohl mit einem weinenden Auge von NAD verabschieden. Die Kombi NAD + Dynaudio war für mich immer hervorragend und auch bezahlbar. Auch bei Dynaudio ist die gute alte Zeit vorbei, Chinesischer Investor und auch hier „Marketing first“ und keine wirkliche Weiterentwicklung seit Jahren. Da NAD keine analogen Verstärker mehr produziert und vertreibt, sind sie im Netz aktuell sehr günstig zu haben, teilweise 50% unter Listenpreis. Wer also einen sehr guten Hi-Fi Verstärker mit unschlagbarem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sucht sollte bei NAD zuschlagen, auch die größeren oder kleineren Brüder sind noch verfügbar. Nuprime z.B. im Bereich der digitalen Verstärker ist aktuell sehr gut und Amphion aus Finnland könnte das neue Dynaudio sein.

Habe den NAD Verstärker gekauft, um einen alten Verstärker zu ersetzen, welcher zwei Quadral Shogun Boxen angesteuert hat. Mit den neuen Verstärker kommen die Boxen zu neuem Glanz. Der Klang ist wirklich klar und auf den Punkt - egal ob über die vielen Eingänge ein alter Plattenspieler (Thorens), ein CD-Player, ein MP3-Gerät oder ein Fernseher angeschlossen ist. Der Verstärker ist jeden Cent Wert und übertrifft den alten, von vielen gelobten Onkyo-Verstärker, den er erfolgreich ersetzt.
