Work better than I expected. Great product. Already have used it on 2 half acre property’s and did a fantastic job.

Works great, and yes it’s heavy. It wouldn’t work if it wasn’t heavy. I cannot fathom reviewers who took off a star because it’s heavy. If you want it to actually pull thatch up and not just ride on top skipping all over the place while accomplishing nothing, THEN IT NEEDS TO BE HEAVY!

Works as intended. The ergonomics are a little odd, but I used an Ego Battery Backpack so it wouldn't be tiring to use the device for long periods of times. I would like to see Ego just build a push from behind type scarifier similar to a lawn lawnmower in the future. Assembly was simple.

This dethatcher is absolutely effective at pulling the dead grass from my lawn. It is quick, quiet, and uses the batteries I already had from my other EGO tools. It requires the power head that can swap out end tools, which I had for my weed whip. I absolutely recommend this tool!

Boy, I started off my quest to dethatch my Texas Bermuda lawn with a manual rake-like product. That lasted about two hours before I started regretting my choice. Put a lot of love-n-sweat into it and all I got done was an abysmally small section. No thank you. Frustrated, I sat down to do a little more research & found the EGO Dethatcher Attachment. Being I have their mower, blower, edger & weedwacker combo, the dethatcher seemed like a natural fit. But I balked. Scratched my head some more over the cost and then decided to just go for it. Glad I did. It is a solid product & functioned flawlessly. Got the remainder of my lawn done in about the same time it took me to do that bitty section with the manual product…and there was a lot yet to do! One caveat I’ll leave you with: it does seem power hungry and will deplete your battery relatively quickly. So keep that in mind. For me, though, it’s no big deal as the EGO batteries charge quickly and I’ve got two more at hand from my other EGO tools. All good.

I was de thatching by hand for so long. Decided to give this a shot since I already had so many other ego products. It's a game changer. It shaved hours off of what would only be a long and tedious day tending to my lawn. Although it is slightly heavy, it moves almost effortlessly across the lawn with little strength. I ran this on the lowest setting with a 5ah battery and got a good 30-40min out of it. As soon as you run the tool, you're kicking out dead grass and it's almost unbelievable that a tool could produce results like that in an instant. I'm looking forward to be able to do this yearly or on a bi yearly basis with this tool.

First time ever detaching my lawn. This thing is amazing and a lot of fun to push around the yard. I really like how easy it is to register the warranty and the app is amazing.
