Cannae Legion Elite Day Pack

When I bought this, I was looking for a slight larger EDC bag. Two things that I liked on this was that this pack has the helmet carrier and that it opens to access the main compartment. I wanted the helmet carry option to stow my jacket.The pack is very well made and I have the confidence that it will last for a long time. My biggest gripe is the placement of the grab handle. It’s attach to the main compartment cover and not to pack. The pack will open and spill its contents if you lift it by the grab handle and you don’t have the cover zipped or the compression straps secured.There is lots of molle attachments available but only a few that are useable. There is a set on the front of the helmet carrier. My gripe with this is only personal, but the molle is offset to allow for zipper access to a compartment in the helmet carrier. This make anything you mount here appear offset to the pack. Also perplexing is the set of molle under the helmet carrier which you don’t see in any of the pictures. If you add anything here, you lose the ability to carry bulky items in the carrier. Compression strap also cover the sets of molle on the sides making them difficult to use.Another perplexing issue to me is the compression strap near the attached exterior side pouch. It passes over the pouch, so it compresss the pouch either limiting the pouch’s usefulness or crushing items in the pouch.There is a bottle holder on the other side of the pouch. It works and will fit most large bottles. Inside the flap has four pockets, one is zippered. Also, there padded compartment for a computer or tablet. It will not fit my 15” laptop. The water bladder compartment sits next to your back. If you look closely you can find the tube exit near the left shoulder strap. I had to remove the tube from the bladder to snake it through the opening so you may have to fill the bladder in the pack. The pack only allows for a top left shoulder routing for the tube.I am able to use the hard pouch for CCW, but only for a midsize OT smaller pistol.On a curious note, the coyote brown for this pack leans strongly toward green instead of brown. Just know this if you a attachments, the color will be slightly off. However, I really like this color.Overall, I like this pack with the major exception of the grab handle. I can highly reocmmend this pack to anyone.

This is a well made bag that works well for carrying gear for camping or work. The helmet storage area is perfect for storing a light jacket if you don't need a helmet.I only have 2 suggestions.The way they setup the helmet storage you're giving up an admin panel for pens and various items.The carry handle is on the zippered section so if it's not zipped completely you can open it when grabbing the handle.Overall it's a solid bag.

Bag is very good quality. I'm currently deployed and use it everyday. It has held up against some pretty rough conditions. There aren't a lot of compartments so sometimes it can get a little packed. Recommend buying an extra MOLLE pouch from Cannae or the next size up bag.

Love this bag, the only down side is how tight the helmet straps are as it is hard to get your helmet in and out with out getting it caught in the material. Great side pouch for a pistol if you get the attachment for it.

This is seriously the best bag ever. It’s sturdy and looks great. I getting compliments and questions about it all the time.

The perfect EDC pack. Not bulky yet large enough to be a BoB if need be. Light weight and ample MOLLE. The helmet stowage is great for grab and go rain gear. Would have bought direct from Cannae but I had some $ in Amazon balance.

The best pack I have ever owned! This backpack can do it all. It holds everything I need for my day to day and still have room. It’s comfortable to wear when running to a plane to long distant hiking. This one pack has replaced 3 packs, I switch out depending on my day.

Great backpack. This pack is small if you're looking to carry a bunch of gear or items that are bigger, but it's perfect for an everyday carry pack. Very sturdy and so far appears that it will hold up well.
