Strong, sturdy and no leaks
I bought this for my forest school sessions. I read other reviews and took the plunge based on them. This was more than twice the price of another one I purchased at the same time and it is so far 10 times better. The strings that came with are not useless but I use a thicker paracord for the A line rope and use these for the sides etc. The pegs are bright orange so if you decide to use them at least they stand out and are harder to lose. They're also better than standard usual tent like pegs. This one has been used a few times now and toddlers grabbing the ropes while up etc and pulling (drives me mad) and has held in like day I unpacked it. Nice and strong.I've used it recently under some severe rain last week and it kept the children all dry. I have babies 1 to 4 years so I need something I can rely on where shelter is required. I can reply on this one for shade and rain.Packs away so easily. They've actually made the bag big enough to stuff it back in really quickly. Horraaah!Would recommend and would buy again.

cheap and light weight with quick next day delivery
The media could not be loaded. I've been using a ex army Tarp so the difference in weight is huge, the size difference is also impressive. Looks to be well made, will fully test it over the next few weeks and update my review over time.First impressions however is very good, guide ropes and the pegs are very good quality, stitching is very high standard. I thought for the price I was going to have to sacrifice quality however this looks as good as the more expensive ones.6 months on and tarp is still serving me well and we have been out on many trips in some heavy down pours, great bit of kit for the price.

Light and bright
Nice big size of kit, came with all things advertised and stiching looks good. Carabineers aren't the best quality but they will be good for hanging wet gear up to dry if you run the line under the tarp rather then through the loopholes. Pegs don't seem the best quality but they will do the job and reinforce my own more robust ones and are extremely lightweight. The whole thing packs to a decent size and with regards to set up, well it's your imagination that's the limit.Only reason for 4 stars is it hasn't been tested in the rain yet

Exmoor tested
Took the Tarp to Exmoor last weekend in the wind and rain and it performed admirably. It kept us dry and out of the wind. After a full day's test it showed no signs of the seams coming apart or any of the other tell tale signs of poor manufacturing. I left the ridgeline attached when I packed it up as well as some hanked paracord on each corner which meant I had to use my own stuff sack because the supplied one was a little to small to mess around with in the rain, but if I'd been a bit more patient I'm sure it would have been fine. Once home the Tarp dried very quickly hung in the bathroom. As a side note I was expecting the pegs to be a bit naff but they were surprisingly good. All in all a bargain I'd happily recommend.

Bone dry in a downpour!
Purchased this last week due to going tarp & hammock camping in a private woodland. Lightweight and very well made.First impression, I didn't think it would be waterproof. On the Saturday night/Sunday morning I found out!It absolutely hammered it down for a few hours and the wind picked up a bit. The tarp did a brilliant job, it kept the wind off and most of all it kept myself, my hammock and all my kit bone dry.Very impressed!!*Update* I've used this tarp a few times now, and I have to say, the more I use it the more I like it. I've swapped the guylines for stronger paracord as the ones supplied are a little..... meh.... I've also made a jungle rope paracord ridge line, which I can't wait to try.

Lightweight and strong
Needed a lightweight tarp and this fits the bill perfectly. Was competetivly priced and also came with aluminium pegs. Comes with guy lines that are more than adequate but I changed mine to keep the weight down and for quick deployment. If you like having a coffee in your local woods whilst listening to the therapeutic sound of rain on a tarp then this is for you

Planet gear tarp
It was cheap. Shame the guy lines were so rubbish though. Replaced them with some decent parachord pretty much after I tried to use it the 1st time. The tent pegs look nice but seem to be made of cheese and will bend if you push them into anything other than soft wet ground. Replaced them too. From then on it's not too bad. Pretty sturdy, not really what I would call lightweight like say a Hilliberg but it didn't come with a Hilleberg price tag either. It wasn't that heavy though. It will keep you and probably 4 mates dry if you are close friends. Lots of guy line attachment points so you can be very creative with the layouts.
