AIRZONE - Aidoo WiFi Air Conditioner Remote Control - Model AZAI6WSCGH2 - Air Conditioner Remote Control and Programming via App - for Split, Floor and Ceiling - Compatible with Google Home and Alexa

Worked great on a new Daikin mini-split with S21 connector. Easy physical install. Powered it up, the app found it and configured wifi, and all the functions work. 5 mins to configure. All the functions seem to work. Tested from app maybe a dozen times, all good. Some appliance wifi controllers have endless connectivity issues, so hopefully this one is solid. Follow up 4 months later: zero connection issues, always works when I open the app. Some also said the local temperature is not shown, but it is for me. Very happy.

I decided to take the risk and buy the AZAI6WSCPAN on Amazon. I did some research, and it seemed like Sanyo units were compatible with Panasonic units. I installed it, and I've had it for over two weeks now, and everything works perfectly. I also integrated it with Home Assistant, which makes it 1000 times better. Plus, through Home Assistant, I also have control over Apple's HomeKit. Here are a few photos in case anyone else in the United States wants to use it.

I've had this product for about a year now (purchased November 2023) and I only had to reconnect it to the wifi once, which I hear that is a main complaint with some other reviews on other sites. Just make sure that this is compatible with your unit before purchasing. That is the part that threw me off the most but did my research for my mini split and made sure it was good. Then you have to make sure you have the right app because airzone has two apps and only one will work with it. I do feel that for what it does, that price is a little steep. I bought it when it was on sale to make sure that it actually worked. I regret not purchasing them all because now I have to wait until it goes on sale again for the other 3 I need.

Sort of a pain to physically install, but not this items fault. There is a pigtail that plugs directly onto the control board, kinda hard to pull the cover and get it placed. It is much easier to use the app to control the unit rather than the handheld remote typically provided with mini splits. One thing I would change. The app will not close on either Android device I have. You have to do the "close all" to get it off the screen. Overall I would definitely purchase again.

After dealing with sensibo one way control this two way control works way better. It always knows the unit status.

the X35A port is impossible to access on the Daikin FXAQ as the control board is inserted sideways and there is no easy way to remove it and access the port for power. An online video shows that the entire control and power module comes out inside a unit and there is no easy way to just connect the connector.

When it works, it's not that bad. However it occasionally lose WIFI connection. Also when using the auto temp feature in the app, for some reason, the unit doesn't turn off when it reaches the the set temp. For example, if you set the temp at 75, it will heat until it reaches 75 but then it emits cold air until the temp goes below 75 when it starts to emits hot air again. Not sure why it does that. It would have been great for it to stop until it needs to be turned on again.

Fonctionne a merveille, assez simple sans etre a la portée de tous evidement... A permis de domotiser une clim de plus de 15 ans ! tout fonctionne meme l'ancienne ecran. Au top, application OK, connection OK, fiable pas de panne en 2 mois.

So happy to finally have wi-fi control for my Mitsubishi Heavy Industries FDT71VG Air Conditioning. It took only a few minutes to connect this controller to my air conditioning unit and then a few more minutes to get the iPhone App setup with the controller - all up and running within 15 minutes. The only thing missing is Apple Home integration - hopefully Aidoo can consider adding this integration in the near future. P.s. Even though the seller shipped the item from Spain, it was delivered to me in the UK within 48 hours - very impressive. A lot quicker than the estimate given by Amazon at time of order.
